acetamino wrote:twitch held better connection for me but at worse quality. Ustream would stream for 3 seconds then audio would cut and screen would cut black then pick up in 45 seconds with another 3 second snippet.

For both streams I joined halfway through first half so I dont know if it would have been different if I started from the beginning of the broadcast.

enjoyed the youtube versions though, great job! Would like matt to make more game references like the noting 3 downs and momentum changes that he has been, but maybe even comment more on how players are rotating or playing too slow or too fast. I think that would lead to motive criticizing more people(a good example is when you guys made fun of me whenever you were on my POV).
Did we make fun of you? I just remember saying you could play pretty much every gun?

Ha, I meant it in a good way, I wasn't offended! I was in POV in the tower when i missed an easy shot, and another time when I walled the mid-house as axis.

I brought it up because whenever you seem to comment on a persons play-style or said 3 quickly down, motive would jump to that person or that side of the map and those were the most interesting parts of watching for me as a viewer. I also enjoyed when you said, "I think the strat for MVPz should be for beas to stop getting naded by JB" or something

Fun impromptu interview after the match last night, wasn't exactly prepared for it but that's the point I think.

I would also like to second the motion for halftime interviews just quick "how much meaningless indecipherable jargon can you fit in this 15 second window" would add a lot to the overall humor level.

And I'm sure this would be a bit of work but I think it would be hilarious to do some sort of parody of "SoundFX" on NFL network, but instead of the mashup of stuff over the course of the game just have a person in either teams vent recording. At halftime have the person recording choose the funniest moment for each team and play it for the shoutcast listeners, and do the same thing after the game. Just a thought.

P.s I am willing to help in any way you guys need just let me know.

i think the closest you can get is watching the hltv instead of the stream. if you want the commentary with it, people can sit in the channel, while muted, with matt and chuck. not sure if you guys have started doing this

We'll keep trying, but I think the fact of the matter is that some streaming services are just not going to work for some people, while for others they will work just fine.

I think we need to get Matt or Chuck to fly out to a random person on the teams' house and report live.

The stream delay is barely more than the time it takes to upload to ustream and then to you.

For the longest time I wanted to use this song in a DoD movie and flash a picture of him every time the chorus started.

My question wasn't a real question. It just unfortunately ended up being phrased in a way that could be a taken as a real question.

I'm not sure what chuck's setup is (I think he was observing this week) but if you have 2 monitors, you should try to coordinate with the hosting team to get rcon and connect HLSW. It had that cool feature where it would read the server log and report kills in IRC (matchbot) and if you could watch that it would help point out players to watch on the stream in advance because the HLTV is delayed but the matchbot is close to real-time.

just let scott "knockout" gordon and myself do commentary with special guest bruce smith.. we'll get it handled, we might even call up Eric "Scatman" Macaluso... we got this.

Honestly I watched some of the Solitude stream but I turned it off after about 4 minutes because all I heard was the word fuck in multiple context, and how much of a bad player nugz was.

I was also hoping to hear JgN shout cast the match.
