Kinda some bullshit BLT came in at the middle of the season, they deserve a much higher seed then 7. Its a shame one of the two better teams will have to meet in the first round

I agree. But I also get that 8 matches > 7 > 6. Do I wish we had a higher seed? Yes. I'm not going to cry about it, I wish this match was more of a headline match than first round - but I know it will still be a good match either way.

1080p < MINO - This is the match of inactive teams. Nobody seems to play and they all just show up for matches. That being said, DJ has been playing quite a bit, but I don't know his activity in the game will be able to help him against the pronestorm that is HD. It should be a close match, but I think if MINO gets one or two early caps then HD wont push enough to catch up. It will still be a close match.

Players to watch:
1080p- I don't know, but I'd watch for all of them to be proned somewhere.
HD- Khoi & dj[sk]

3h > GLOCK - As much as I want glock to beat 3h so that I can laugh at Kevin forever, I just don't see it happening. Vertex will probably control apartments well (if his pc doesn't crash I guess), but Kevin should have mid the entire time. This will be a close match with either out come, but I give it to 3h by a slight advantage. Mogers has a funny way of turning things around and fragging lots of people out of nowhere, so watch out for that nonsense.

GLOCK- Vertex & Till (I'll be honest, I have no idea who is on glock)

1080p > MINO - MINO might not have the best fraggers but they have pretty good teamwork, they are like a mini-dgf and they are pretty good at RR2. I don't think they will have enough to beat 1080p, though. Bromley is going to de_stroy while Disturbed sneaks by everybody and ninja caps everything by himself.

Jims < cBerry - I like cBerry and they are a good team. We got away with murder barely beating them the other day and I think (hope) they will be the darkhorse in these playoffs. Jim's on the other hand has D-Bo who is a colossal mouthbreather, and how anyone can actually tolerate this kid is beyond me. Nevertheless, Jim's is solid as well and I think this should be a good match. I expect the rifles on both sides to be dominant in this one.

1080p > MINO - This one might be a close one or it might not. Not really sure. Both are solid teams with good chemistry.

MVPZ > BLT - If seaN's server accommodations are met, then this match is clearly in BLT's favor. He is absolutely the deciding factor in any match (again, assuming the server meets his standards). Otherwise, I think MVPz can take this. RR2 is a great rifle map and Beas can do some serious work on it. I don't really know who snipes for BLT but I think whoever it is will be a non-issue for Schmiggs.

3h = GLOCK - GLHF. Since I only started playing this game 2 months ago I might cheat, as is standard protocol in all of the scrims I play, and I believe this goes without saying for all of team glock. #GLOCK. Idle. Support.

Jims < cBerry - If anyone on cBerry had a single fuck left to give about this game it would be an easy victory, but they are literally out of fucks. They've also been playing DoD so long that they've developed gamma cataracts. cBerry will have to capitalize on Jim's lack of talent to achieve victory. Watch for Dan "DeadlyScorch" Brohm to dump ass on the other team like he did this past Sunday.

1080p < MINO - Asians playing video games. Enough said. 1080p may be able to pull out a win if they exploit MINO's "oh I thought this was brood war" handicap.

MVPZ > BLT - Quick rematch. I think MVPz lost because Solitude is a fuckdick assbag of a map. If they can manage to make it to next Sunday without dying of old age then they should be good to go. The sniper lofts on each side will afford Schmiggs a chance to fucking Moonkim form for the whole forty minutes and keep mid clear, but there might be one angle too many for him to Netherhell a zero death half out of this bitch.

3h = GLOCK - Dear GLOCK, the "boy I sure am better than you, enjoy your defeat" routine does not work when you're a forever-mainvite idiot, guys. It didn't work in 2005, and it certainly doesn't work now when fucking players like Airnick and k4b00m are part of the upper echelon. It works for me because I actually am much, much better than everyone and have been for a long time. Please notice the difference here and then kill yourselves.

With that said, I think this is probably the MOTW. GLOCK has players to drop enough frags rapidly to score some capouts. 3h has fetal-alcohol syndrome and can't coordinate two people to secure a double cap. However, all of 3h with the exception of Kevin has probably gotten laid at least once, and I'd go so far to say that some of those experiences were with naturally-born women. This may give 3h a self-confidence advantage that will propel them to victory; though I expect them to also draw on their years of experience and withering vestiges of six-year-old talent to defeat the competition.

Fuck this game.

Jims < cBerry - cBerry had a decent match last week considering how shitty solitude is. I expect steve and cody to hold apartments fairly easy. Dan putting up big frags in middle with the railgun and bensane roasting marshmallows over an open flame in blue room. Should be pretty close but I think experience MIGHT win this.

1080p < MINO - this could really go either way, I think its pretty evenly matched.

Players to watch: apple and defiance

MVPZ < BLT - as much as I hate to say it, if 3h wasn't in main... BLT would probably win main; but we are. Regardless, BLT's team work and fragging abilities should win this for them.

As for preds...

Jim's < cBerry - I scrimmed jim's last night (I think it was their starting roster) and I wasn't impressed. They seemed much more organized on lennon than rr2. And, as long as d-bo doesn't start cheating second half, I think cBerry will be able to pull this off. If they play as well as they did on solitude, that is. Plus, there aren't many ledges one must jump over to get a capout.

Players to watch:
Jim's: duality, ck
cBerry: Insane, scorch (assuming he plays?).

1080p < Mino - I feel like this is the best match up for the two teams. They're around equal skill and should prove to be a great match for both of them. Though I feel like Khoi's gang will pull through in the end.

Players to watch:
1080p: Khoi, apple
Mino: defiance - the only person I can remember that is on 1080p

MVPz < BLT - I think blt is going to show that they're not meant to be 7th seed here. Though mvpz is determined to win main before they move themselves anywhere, I think this is as far as they go in playoffs. All the evidence lies in a single name: jackson.

BLT: jackson, leroy

3h v. GLOCK - Apparently glock has taken it upon themselves to become the largest trolls on the forums since stamp and timtebow are banned. At least it's good to know they think that they are still good (especially since we already beat you on rr2 once). If by "hyping themselves up" you mean "trolling hardcore," then I agree. As you said, it's really going to be one side saying "I told you we'd win." Does it matter? No. If we lose, we'll still end up getting moved to invite. If we win, then that just means we have to keep showing up for two-three weeks. Lose-lose!
