TPG Season 27 Main Bracket

Jim's < cBerry - I scrimmed jim's last night (I think it was their starting roster) and I was impressed. They seemed much more organized on lennon than rr2. And, as long as d-bo doesn't start cheating second half, I think cBerry will be able to pull this off. If they play as well as they did on solitude, that is. Plus, there aren't many ledges one must jump over to get a capout.

Players to watch:
Jim's: duality, ck
cBerry: Insane, scorch (assuming he plays?).

im pretty sure theres a good chance that dsnipes is going to be playing for scorch, not 100% sure on that one. youll have to ask chuck

You missed my point, which was bitchslappin' taylor whining attitude about HIM not having fun rolling invite (as he says) with a slightly sarcasm. I can't answer for other teams here but as for my team, we much prefer playing against a better and be totally wrecked than steamroll and weaker team. In my opinion Gskill and THUNDER brings competition to the division hypothetically forcing teams who really want to beat them practice and develop. However we are in 2012 and the majority of people who is playing DoD nowadays are doing so strictly for fun and nostalgia sake rather than to prove who is the best team whatsoever.

sounds like you've missed my point.. i said the league seems competitive. want to know why? the players in it actually practice together as a team.. just yesterday i scrimmed two different main teams that put up a good fight against a pug i was in.. i can't remember the last time gskill had a practice. it's fun seeing teams actually try and become better.

also, my team isn't a super team.. i just enjoy playing with everyone on it (hence the reason i cut biggie; i fucking hate him)

cass i don't understand why you're so bitter towards me. i figured you would have stopped after flipping in match comm a few weeks ago.

Whoa whoa whoa, pretty sure eLephant made it to invite finals after a big win over veracity. It's just too bad Steve can't do it on LAN.

Also Jared knows me very well, and is invited to do some all day drinking with me while watching Trailer Park Boys, Always Sunny, and FUBAR.

First of all, astonishingly, I wasn't rude in what I wrote I rather pulled your leg this time around. secondly, you have to agree with me that the competitiveness found in main is only obtained because teams are very balanced. When I stated that your "super team" (quoted) took away fun and competition I did it to reflect the way you seem to feel towards invite. Perhaps I missed an "from yourselves" in my last sentence but if that clear things up a bit please consider it in. Lastly, I'm pretty sure I overreacted in the match comm when you asked to use your server instead of ours, that's why I apologised. It have nothing with this or any time I crossed your opinions here before. Tbh I think you're a whiner sometimes but a cool nonetheless. And I'm glad you finally realized that biggie is a sore loser and a cancer of your previous teams. For Christ's sake I even removed my pug team from euro tournies when they corruptly banned you from their shitty league. l8pz

I think you might be right... they did make it pretty far in Invite. I guess the point I was trying to make is that the pure skill and talent of teams like elephant and gskill just doesn't trump team work like x6, coL, and thunder.

Yeah I was nitpicking because I'm a butthead. Your point stands that they underperformed given their enormous, elephant sized talent, especially given that it followed a website declaring that the express intention of forming this super team was to win CPL 05.

Jims > cBerry - In all honesty for most of the season cberry has not impressed me that much, but after watching them last week I think they may have pulled something together as a team. Cody has some on/off games so I think the match could be decided on how he plays, and also if scorch plays. (Scorch single handedly destroyed me in some invite finals with TAP a long time ago, and it was not fun.) However, jims has some decent players in their rifles and can be dominant. Match depends on if scorch plays and I read somewhere he isn't, so jims wins by 10.
Players to watch: Jims- Not quickscope and tenks proning fucking everywhere and claiming they don't.
cberry- the pros and ben missing another capout

1080p < MINO - HD's wins are against cberry, h2k, teamless, and mino on donner. tbh I don't know anything about HD, I know 0 of their players, but they have some weak wins. Mino doesn't have that much better of wins, but a team that has Khoi without nades has a good chance of winning. Mino by 30.
Players to watch: Don't really know except the pub manager Khoi Ngo.

MVPZ glhf BLT - Should be interesting, really depends on who has an "on" match. Obviously won't be me.
Players to watch: mvpz- beas and jb gave me trouble last week
BLT- leroy craig sean jared cameron grant. What's not to like?

3h > GLOCK - 3h has a very strong roster depending on the night. 3h should have this but they need to work as a team and not get frustrated (rifles and kevin!) against glock. Glock is very good at holding the map because they are very, very slow, but have trouble when they need to push. Apartments and middle will be very entertaining to watch because each team have players that could dominate both. 3h by 10.
Players to watch: 3h- Kevin and Matt. Joel to see how he performs as a heavy
Glock- Hard to pick because many of the team acted like assholes/idiots last time we played them, but mare and theshizz seemed like decent pple, so watch them.
