Re: Mike Tyson rape video
Gotta say, I don't think that guy in the 1985 video was doing a good job of putting up a defense. Gotta do a little more than that when tyson's trying to destroy your face.

In 1985 no one expected for some guy to come out and lay down the amount of obscenely powerful blows. You can't defend it. It's like getting hit with a baseball bat.
i probably hate you. #gfb

The coolest KO is Roy Jones's on Glen Kelly - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JiVTqPlxPA
Most devastating is, in my opinion, Lennox Lewis's on Hasim Rahman - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcJnnT2qdl4
That was a punch that would make a man retarded.

Lewis is probably my favorite fighter to watch. His knockout on tyson was a pretty solid punch too.

Re: Mike Tyson rape video
I personally wouldn't want to have to take one punch from any of them. In some of the Tyson clips you can just hear the body punches over the background music and announcers. I got to watch 2 of the 3 Gatti/Ward fights live...now those were good.

He didn't even have a ton of big time wins. When he finally started fighting big time fighters, he started losing. He just beat a bunch of middle rung fighters convincingly. He had a handful of good wins vs good fighters, but not enough to be one of the best ever. Hardest hidding != best ever.
Re: Mike Tyson rape video
He would obliterate people within seconds into the first round. His 1 loss that was really worth a damn was the Buster Douglas fight in Tokyo.JustiN-_^ wrote:hildebrand wrote:favourited.

Like prison and his personal life undid him. He fought like 15 times in the first year of his professional career. He fought twice the year before he went to prison.
He was pretty much derailed in his prime by his out-of-ring actions. But stylistically, he was considered really good. He wasn't just a sloppy heavy hitter. Mike Tyson was accurate, fast, and played phenomenal defense with his hands. He only lost to Evander with a TKO in the 11th round. Not taking anything away from Holyfield, but he beat a lot people across the board convincingly.

Fedor- (31-1-3)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedor_Emelianenko
Was the only reason why I watched MMA until he lost.
Said to be the hardest hitter in MMA. Said to be the best at hammer punches. Brock uses a lot of Fedor's training techniques. Tim Silvia didn't land a punch on him, the whole match lasted 34 seconds.

Perhaps the first and last time I will ever agree with mg. Tyson was an incredible boxer. He was a ferocious hitter but also epitomized the term "ring general." He judged space and navigated his way inside on his opponents impeccably and punished them at the body and head with compact power and incredible precision. Tyson's downfall was absolutely attributable to his personal life and the way he was treated by his handlers. He was only like 19 when he won the championship. He just couldn't deal with what was being thrown his way at that age.mg_ wrote:He would obliterate people within seconds into the first round.
