We don't have one of these here so I'll start. I got a American Labrador Retriever early in December and he completed 7 months of life today! That's my first "real" pet (I had other pets before but it was up to my parents take care of them feed them etc so they weren't mine) and I everyday I feel amazed by how loyal and friendly the little fella is not only to me but to everyone else. Good thing is that he don't bark also! His name is "Nego" (free translation would be "Blacky").

Hopefully it's not the literal translation... it's more like an slang adjective to people you like. The reason I said it was a free translation it's because the name is very similiar to the "Negro" word (black). So yeah thank you for your accidental acknowledgement of my cleverness! +REP

I made a dog thread a long time ago, dog threads are better because cats can be included under the umbrella of "pets"

anyways, this is my 2 year old border collie, Pickle. It's his birthday today and I am in turn spoiling the little turd.

He fractured his elbow, got a pin and a screw put in. Last weekend they removed the screw, so he needs to wear this for another week. He is 5 months.

Single dumbest response I have yet to read. Pretty sure there is a difference between receiving a pet as a gift, and being assigned a pet to dissect. DERRH

Anyway, we used to have a pure German Shepherd (he lives at one my of my grandfather's vineyards now), a pure Caucasian Shepherd (but she passed away) and now I just have a cat (she is very boring, hardly ever moves; cats suck).
