But i have a dog and I can't run him on a bike and still get enough exercise for myself.

what kind of bike do you ride? or are you one of those gym bike riders. LOlooLlOlLLOlLoL~ (not as bad as treadmill runners gothefuckoutside)

Biking = faster
Biking = greater energy expenditure
Biking = greater distances

The only benefit of running is you don't have to set anything up. But spending 10 minutes to get ready for a bike ride still beats the convenience of a run. By a ton. I will seriously punch you in the throat if you disagree.

And no, I am a road cyclist. I only touch gym bikes in the winter when I don't want to piss roommates off with my trainer.

No, the only time I do cardio indoors is winter. I would run outside before I would bike in a gym any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
