Interview with schmiggs or smith HERE

[Update:]
Schmiggs has informed me that the merger is now off, and 5.o has gone back to being 5.o, Due to irreconsilable differences.
Best idea ever.

I remember sitting in #devil_priv, watching stuart join the channel, immediately engage in like a 3 hour flame war with Chris (fortislupus), and then you guys called the whole thing off. Pretty great day for the interwebs.
Yea the whole merge thing really never panned out. :)

She's had 2 clans in almost 12 years of DoD, and only played on a couple of others before that in beta. dgf has essentially existed uninterrupted since shortly after devil died at the end of 2003... I don't think there is really another instance on the inter-webs that can compete with that kind of longevity.

Actually, i never played for anyone else. My 1st clan, MIA was just mods and the dod dev team. I was co-leader. Then I joined RBC for merc (i think that was his name) He had to leave i had to co-lead with rocko. Then i left RBC, made devil. Thats when monkeytime took over RBC. Rest is hIstory. :o

merek is my old account (sold it to some cs nerd for $50, 5 years ago)
pzykotic is DMiller

Cliffs
Revolt got disputed in a playoff's match when he was with GIMP. DMiller banned him without watching the demos because of previous personal issues and "fishy" demos. I agreed that he may of been cheating previously, but I didn't think he was cheating in that particular match.

I confront DMiller about not watching the demos, post 81 contains logs of what he had to say.

Since nothing got done internally, I decided to accept a season long ban and expose the faggot

I ended up getting banned for 9 months, then DMiller got fired and my ban got overturned. Come at me bro.

2 years later, DMiller caught his wife in bed, with a black man (not ken). The black man allegedly assaulted Dmiller and proceeded to file assault charges on Dmiller. (I believe nick told me this, ken can verify)

post 24 and 26 made me lol.

Whoaaaa. Revolt!? I enjoyed finally pinning him after the Anzio demos!

DMiller, along with a lot of the head CAL guys at the time, was a moron. We all knew that, and knew he was biased, but we were forced to pretend we liked him while on staff. I wish I still had CAL|Greg's number. The fat guy sounded like he was about to suffocate every time we'd talk to him.

Habib, hands down best ingame leader. Also, e-machine wasn't on habib's hands, it was mine. Between nickpatten jordan and I we all had a hand in the rosters that risk built, the one with habib clicked the best and I think he is one of the reasons why.

Best in-game leader I've had the privilege of playing with was Money-B. He was always interested with what was best for the TEAM, quickly called out where the enemy was to specific teammates and was great at anticipating what the enemy was going to do.

Bird may have helped with that a little ;) lil inside joke a few of you may know of.

Yeah that's right, fuck you all (except Joey). Why? Because I suck and convinced people like md (when he was good) and kellen (when he was good) to join my teams.

Oh, and I put up with jules (who?) for like three seasons. It's impossible to get that kid to sit still and play DoD the right way. And it takes an unfathomable amount of finesse to convince him to play a match when it conflicts with mac & cheese time. I did it. And I did it good.

Matthew "stile" Kurose was a strong leader. Always made unusual strats that never work but got us the W's when we needed them. Also chokes in the playoff but encourages the team with an anime speech.

Mantis turned what amounted to a pub clan into a CAL-i champion in a few months. He did whatever needed to be done to put the team in the best position to win and was a severely underrated player himself. Best frenchie and leader ever.

Me - led a bunch of random cal-o scrubs (KARNEY AND MYRON) to cal-main and won it during the most competitive times in DoD, the season before cpl'05. got said team sponsored and flown to cpl with a #12 rank ahead of cal-i teams. got shit on in rnd 2 against coL on chemmille.

the end.

I was always a free spirit so lol leaders, but there was a time when I blew at this game so listening to instruction was necessary. If I had to list one person Voodoo the ukz godfather would be at the top of that list. Kyle took our team from cal-o to cal-i, and eventually beat the best team (online) ve` . He was a very competitive individual always on vent getting the team together to scrim, or strat. If he wasn't happy with our results he'd either cut someone from the starting roster(me) or find some other way to will our team to the top.
