Quick notes:

1) Did not get a new laptop, and certainly would not get one with the intention to return to DoD. I guess saying this for six months hasn't sunk in with jules yet as it was beyond easy to convince him I was coming back to DoD.

2) toxinator had nothing to do with this, jules, so don't be mad at him. I forged those two lines. I just messaged tox earlier telling him I wanted to roster ride and that's where our conversation ended. Tee hee.

Tried to get some other teams to offer jules a spot, but jules retired to watch hockey, so they were unable to get through to him. Was considering trying to get jules to leave veracity in the midst of this ordeal, just for the night (knowing he'd talk to tox and [hopefully] re-join upon learning that tox had nothing to do with this).

The saddest thing for me, personally, is that jules ever changed his handle from Velocity in the first place.

Maybe if you still played as Velocity you wouldn't get benched man.

Some quick shout-outs:

1) Jules first and foremost, for being so innocent and lovable.

3) Rob for making the plan better than I could ever do by myself.
4) Pat and Mogers for offering jules a spot on their roster. Though we cut the plan short, your willingness to join in on the trolling no questions asked makes me forever grateful.

You've been posting a lot lately, complained to me about not having any mod power because you were "trolling people so hard", all the while consistently affirming that you'll never play DoD again, as if such a notion is completely beneath you (my subjective perception of course). Now you've taken the time to troll jules and make this thread (while once again affirming that you'll never play DoD again).

I'm also interested as if you are under the impression that all of your postings on 1911 are done so in the sake of argumentatively sound logic, as I'm sure a quick search through some of your past posts might beg to differ (staw men and ad hominem aside).

I didn't bring any of those other things up before to support my thesis, so the straw man remains very much straw. I have no qualms about this, and concede that openly with no rustled jimmies.

But back to the matter at hand, what's your deal? why aren't you playing DoD? what's the motivation in trolling 1911, in asking for your mod powers back? or in doing this whole thing with jules?

What the shit. I stopped playing DoD because I'm going to be focusing on grad school soon and have other stuff going on, not because it's beneath me. I moved 1,000 miles from my desktop and am saving up money for grad school + spending time with my girlfriend. I played this game for 10 years. I'm not about to act all "too cool" for it. I just have different priorities. If I had room for it, I'd gladly still play.

I do this because it's entertaining. The trolling I do is harmless. Do you think 1911 will be a better place without the LuLz and entertainment? You put me to -3000 rep a few weeks ago and I'm at 16,000 now. Pretty sure at least a few people appreciate the entertainment I provide. If you want to keep this site strictly serious DoD business, feel free to give me the ban hammer and I won't interrupt that agenda anymore. If you are cool with this place being laid back and ex-players coming in here playing grabass, then I don't see what the point was of you raising contention.

P.S. unless I'm obviously joking or being sarcastic, I do not make irrational or fallacious posts, or start arguments hinging on a straw man claim. Feel free to search through my posts and find where I had an erroneous line of thought, though. Good luck, I was the team leader of Logic Land.
