It's really pretty stupid to allow guys to cheat and stay in the league simply because you want a league. It's just helped create this culture of accepted cheating and turning dod in 6v6 wallhack fests.

I wasn't saying "counter-cheating" is okay, its not okay by my standards of the game; cheating in general is just lame. I basically meant it sucks for ceebz being caught because, from playing with him on my team he probably doesn't cheat every time he loads dod. From my stand point there's quite a few sketchy people that i seriously wonder if they cheat. I meant it sucks if ceebz really cared enough , but i really doubt he does, because he cant play matches if he did. I wasn't saying it was a bad decision on the ban at all , cheating is cheating. After winning a season of tpg I realized how redundant and pointless this game is to take seriously. If ceebz thought it was okay to cheat back then, hey , that's his decision.

1) You're all stupid. Not all, but most. There's an 87% chance that if you're reading this, you're dumb. TPG is not corrupt; they're fucking smart about this. Keep cheating in scrims and crashing vents/servers then act butthurt when people look at you suspiciously.

2) Who gives a fuck if someone did meaningless cheating in their past. If they cheat in a match or server with a config running, ban them, cool, those are the rules. If they cheat in a pub or a joke scrim, then it's whatever. It's an online video game. I know, it's not "honorable" or "noble." Yes I am biased as I cheated in pubs quite a few times (sup, hatemaker), and in a few scrims (coincidentally against the flawless kids, as well as cheating South Americans). I wasn't trying to hide that fact from anyone but them; I'll bet the vast majority of people who played semi-actively since last winter knew what I did. And I really couldn't care less now. It's fun to cheat against people who don't think twice about cheating against you, and/or against Paw_Paw from the GSR pub and/or against the entire BAW pub.

3) If ceebz was caught cheating in a way that was against the rules, then he deserves to be banned. If I was caught going against the rules (I wasn't, lololololol (but that's because the rules did not condemn cheating in scrims (lololoophole))), I would acknowledge I deserve to be banned. Seems like ceebz has done that. So, it's whatever. But let's be real, he cheated in matches before so this should have happened a long time ago. Real talk. Stop defending him (if anyone is?), stop saying flawless/dpk gets unfair treatment (ex-dpk member here), stop saying TPG is corrupt. See point #1.

What do you think I don't give a fuck about? How did you interpret my gif usage? Because really, if you read the response, that was in response to the poor gif usage I mentioned previously (notice how I addressed all the concerns I initially listed prior to my essay).

Also it was in response to the people who will "look down on me" for cheating in pubs and against meaningless cheaters.

I believe you Ceebz! Played with him on a team and he is just that damn good. Also played against him many times and he did piss me off! His demos got pulled most weeks when I was on HD with him and cleared everytime. I see why everyone disputed him and I would still dispute him if he wasn't banned. That avatar is not a good one!

I have played this game competitively on and off for almost 12 years or so, and have seen a lot of hackers/cheaters come and go, and I still have the same question for every one of them... Why cheat at a terrible game? Also though, why cheat when it does not matter? What is the point of trying to gain an advantage in something that does not mean a damn thing? I guess I just do not get it.

I actually believe he never cheated in a match although his recoil was always suspicious as hell. His demos were pulled pretty much every week from what I remember. Don't know if he cheated in more than the scrim that he was banned from. The first half didn't record cheebz which is why nothing was recorded from then and vertex's shenanigans.

Oh man I wish I could release some crushing evidence that would bury ceebz in all his lies, but I promised someone I wouldn't bring them into this. I will leave it at this, ceebz has cheated before and hes admitted to it. Sure, he didn't cheat every match(mostly toggle), and yeh hes actually a very good player. Egos make nerds do silly things sometimes, kinda like athletes using steroids. They're already better then the average person, but they want that extra edge to stand out. I personally think the rules should be a little diffrent if you're caught cheating in a scrim/12man. Maybe a 3-6 month ban instead of a whole year. ALOT of players cheat there asses off in 12 mans to look good and then go legit in matches just bc people are watching. This is why I stay away from 12 mans unless im shit faced and ready to deal with the randomness.

I know what you're saying but I had hoped the huge difference between the examples I provided would illustrate the point I was trying to make...

There is a difference in playing more careful in matches, than completely slowing down your game to a halt to a point where you're getting 1/3rd less kills and 2-3x as many deaths. To the point where you look nothing like the player you are in scrims. That's more than being more careful.

There are a ton of good players I know of that tone down their play style for matches and play it more carefully. But they still top frag and have a profound impact on the outcome..which is nothing like the person this thread is about.
