Why do you care so much? Put more effort into the DoD'z or something that actually means something. Just be happy you aren't banned for neg rep.

Silly system in my opinion, but that's what it is. I just get tired of hearing people bitching about it. I might start banning people just for bitching about it...

Haha Scott. It's supposed to be a retarded system, it's 1911. Basically, I took a 5 year old vbulletin add-on and modified it as best I could to make it work for us because people thought it would be fun to have rep on 1911, and there are no active mods to add it to phpbb (it's now built in to vbulletin). It's really limited and buggy (e.g. I can't stop neg rep causing attempted +rep negs, I have to manually turn off people's rep giving abilities when they go too far negative).

They were right, it is fun, and I'm glad I spent all the time that I did adding it. But, it definitely doesn't matter or mean anything in reality. But, you can always count on the DoD community to make something matter that doesn't really in reality (like playing DoD in the first place).

I'm really just to the point where I'm sick of the amount of daily messages I get about +reps, especially from people who have been around the community long enough to know not to take it seriously, not to complain about it, and definitely not to bother me about it with pm's (james/sean).

Also, +reps for everyone in this thread...except for alex...fuck alex.
