Please leave us in one fucking division. This is the second season in a row you have moved us three times before the third week. Put us in upper, and leave us there. Or move us to main, and leave us there. Why is that so fucking hard? Choose one of the other 20 teams to move around.

I would agree its not really fair to them, but at the same time 3h needs to not complain even when their shit kicked in week one. I realize its not the whole team but its an on going debate each season

3h getting moved around has nothing to do with their skill level. They have been moved around to even out the divisions only. I'm sorry its always you guys but there is nothing we can do about it.

None of us complained week 1. This season or last. If it happened, I didn't see it. So, argument = void.

The only thing i actually cares is about get all matches played in same division. Win down-move up, points won ?

This season i really would like to be able of play all matches before playoffs & get thoose points in the same division. Could be possible for this one?

We really didn't complain, we'd rather play invite all season than be jumped around. We play all our matches and try to accommodate other teams, so I don't what part in all this you think we have.

I can call it like it is, which happens to be sarcasm! I don't know where Matt's comment was, so I will ignore that. I posted mine in the predictions after losing to dgf by 400 points. They moved us down after losing one match last season, too. Thus, the laughs were had. And who are you speaking for when you say "we all"? As far as I know, nobody has stated they favor playing in any division, so how would you know what we prefer when someone on the team doesn't? Of course we'd rather play in main against people OUR OWN SKILL LEVEL. It is definitely more fun. And, to have it on the record, we only won one season. Not two.

Same post for week one preds it was before the shellacking. I dont really care I was simply pointing out why it happens, I would mind play you guys cause you do make time for teams to get the 6 they want on and never FFing. But yea... Good luck in invite, youll do fine.

Spin it however you want. Everyone knows you would much rather be in main but would continue to play in invite if TPG needed. That, I am not disputing. Everyone also knows there have been complaints on 1911 "sarcastic" or not. If teams would stay alive we wouldn't have this problem.

If it's sarcastic, is it really a complaint? And yeah, we'd rather play in main because we're pretty bad and feel the matches there are much more enjoyable. Isn't anything more fun when you're playing at your level? If I had more than 3 weeks left in this game and our team actually wanted to get better, I'd be all for putting the time in to compete in invite. Instead, we try to scrim and get shit on time after time.

I understand that. But what can you do? That's the way it always is. The only way you will make a set of stable divisions, which require no move-ups or downs, is to collapse one of the four and turn TPG back into a three-tiered league. But, of course, you will have more people arguing with you here then me if you do that! I'm kind of a push over.

kevin, there definitely were a whole series of posts about where 3h was placed, should be placed, will be placed, wants to be placed......etc. it went on for a while. talking about how terrible you guys are is still saying the same thing: that you should not be in invite, skill-wise. and its not just been the sarcastic "look at this game, we're terrible, how are we in invite?!?"

this isn't the first time i've heard this brought up about your team. and these threads have an influence on the admins trying to find the best place for you guys.

ive always felt that your team has been on the border between the two divisions (and i would say even more on the invite side but chuck could also be right). you may not feel that way but when you look at the teams, thats where you guys are. im guessing that moving you guys down after your loss fit well enough with the number of teams in invite at the time AND gave you guys what you wanted. when a team dies in invite and they need a team to fill the gap, you shouldn't be surprised to be moved when its this early in the season.

granted, getting moved around all the time is shitty. but whether you meant it or not, this thread says: "fine, w/e, leave us here even though we shouldnt be here"

Oh please. The admins don't care what we say on these forums. Isn't that what they are for?! I'm pretty sure they've also said it's not about us as a team, trying to be fit in the right place; it's about evening out the divisions.

The thing is, that's NOT what we wanted. We would have been perfectly content to play in invite all season. We understand that we should be in there, we won the division below it last season. It's stupid to put us in main. But we placed 2nd the season before and they threw us back down after two weeks, so anything goes. Honestly, they should have just left us in invite and given a team a BYE, because it was only a matter of time before some team died, anyway. With the uneven amount of teams in main, they could have just moved KS earlier, dodging that problem. The team has like 30 people on the roster and can only field 3 TWO days in a row. Just let them play in their division or die.

This turned out a much longer post than I anticipated. I'll end it with something short: You made a lot of good points, but they are all under the assumption we care about where we play. We don't. We just want to have a season of win/losses that adds up to 8. I would also like a season without Matt declaring we are dead. Why can't you help me out on one of those things, TPG?! Easy requests.

personally i'm sorry that this has happened again. during last seasons i tried to build and keep teams (invite teams lolol) to keep playing not only because i like to pretend i'm not a shitty rifle (being an retired counter-strike player that attended wcg, eswc, cpl qualifiers, i still love competitiveness) but we would have one more team and therefore i'd help not having teams like 3h, mvpz (last season) or even suap sandbaggers being moved up to a division they don't seem to belong. before going on, on a random side note, your post is god damn epic. it has everything a good read post need to have, even boob gifs. i'd rep train you if i could.

your and 3h's general complain about being moved up and down is a 100% legitimate and i guess it really sucks to be always moved up and down since like 2-3 seasons ago when 3h reformed but you should understand that these decisions needs to be done in order to keep the league stable. i really hope 3h carry on playing and though i can't answer on behalf tpg about this matter i don't see your team moved up and down again anymore through the season (personal opinion). this time around, with 6 teams dying and half of them for stupid actions made by their very players, for the sake of a skill-wise balanced 4 divisions format stability we needed to do that because like trevor said, you guys are halfway invite and main, slightly more invite in my opinion as well.

from what i get not only reading this thread but old pred/random threads is that though you're also saying that it's a misguided idea since your argument is that all the complains and statements about how bad you guys are might have been 1911's jokes i believe you may be acquainted to the proverb "when a thing is funny, search it carefully for a hidden truth" right? you have to agree that even though you guys may not have seriously said that you wanted your team moved down thats how most of the community feel towards 3h situation. me and the rest of the tpg admins feel the same. i'm not saying it's not the truth, but it's how pretty much everyone who isn't from 3h feel.

3h is bad, suap is better. What's wrong about voicing frustration about their legitimate skill level and placement. If im not mistaken this game is about having fun, not getting rolled every week so that there can be an even amount of teams in a division. Is there anything inherently wrong with an odd number of teams in a division? I think it's better to not play 1 match a season than a team just dying because it isn't fun getting destroyed every week. Cal did this all the time and it worked fine, and it allowed for make-up matches to actually be held in the last week (P.S.unlike some brilliant decisions by tpg to not let anyone makeup matches because they didn't have ffs, yet still taking the week off)(P.P.S. avoiding teams not playing every week with even numbered divisions effectively made every team not play for a week.)

3h complained to themselves about being in invite because they knew they didn't belong, but only made a few comments publicly. Again, why do you care if they voice their frustration in a very minor way? Leave them in main, it's not like they steam rolled main last 2 seasons. And if you really need your even divisions move up Suap, they wrecked 3h yesterday.

Well I can't speak for the rest of my team, nor do I heavily follow their posts. I didn't see us complaining, and I haven't complained. We won Main, we go to Invite, it makes sense. If someone has been complaining, it was likely after one of our many horrible losses against every invite team there is. If someone has a screenshot of us doing well against a decent team, I'd love to see it just for the novelty.

I do agree that its not the end of the world to have an odd number of teams in a division. SuaP is on the upper end of the skill level of main (no thanks to me), but would get wrecked in invite. I think 3h is in the same boat.
