Always liked this movie, at least the first half, haven't seen a movie that shows all the versions of dod better than this

Normally don't mind old dod movies, but this one is just really boring.

Most of the really old movies are quite boring, bordering on becoming unwatchable. I'm including some of the better once just because they give a glimpse of old-school dod, especially this one having footage from early betas, boring or not.

I like seeing some of the old Beta play simply because I didn't see it personally. It's neat to see how much it changed to release. On the other side they do get somewhat slow, but that's because it's not really a highlight reel. FOTW catch my attention better because of the rare, amazing shots and streaks.

I think you can still download the old versions of Dod for steam. It would be boring since no one plays them but at least you fool around and try them out.

I remember the reception of this movie being lukewarm at the time as well. Mostly due to how incredibly long it is, a lot of people thought it could afford to be edited down despite it's function as a chronicle of the game. I still like it.

PPL still play 3.1 I think every sunday a group still comes on. Much like Fire Arms, ppl still get on usually on sundays and there is a handful of servers.

haha what's this!

Have to agree that this movie is way too long and could have used a good amount of cuts, but this was my first attempt at a gaming video. The second frag video I did was much shorter and faster paced.

It's humbling to see that people still remember this stuff, I have a ton of old dod pics and videos on my external I'll have to upload/post them here sometime.

Like I said, the first half is pretty enjoyable, but it kinda gets dragged on, and the quality seems to get worse, or is that just me? Anyways, probably one of my favorites despite this
