so apparently, lightgamma is no longer an allowed command? like steam literally dies if you use it as far as i can tell, thats disappointing considering the terrible areas in dod's maps where there isnt a direct lightsource so it's literally pitch black.

Lowest 'light gamma" setting is 2. Any lower than that and it crashes. Powerstrip is the answer, still.
an thank you, much appreciated. i was doing 1.75 which is what i used to use. altho that was back when i had an actual monitor. 1080p flatscreens tend to handle brightness a bit better lol.
he's still around, i talk to him on FB or vent daily. he just works a shit ton more during the summer. Pretty sure his sisters all got married off lol, except maybe one.

Well, since they are twins, I really don't have a preference... either will do. If I remember correctly Morior was able to track down Megan's myspace forever ago. I think shes the one who got married, not that marriage means anything anymore... its about the same as leasing a car, I'll hit her up at the 3yr mark.

Damn straight! Been thinking about getting back into the scene, but my schedule right now is just hectic as all hell. Have my standard 9-5 job then work part time 2 nights a week. Usually put in 60-70 hours a week, then of course my gym time on top of that. SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME
