You're only representing Brazil and not the other SA nations? I don't doubt BR has plenty of good players to pick from, it's just surprising.

Re: TPG Regions Cup 2012
When I start doing the tournament things it was supposed to be South America region. But what's the point of letting it stay as South America if I won't be picking players from other regions? For your information there's only two South American countries at this point on TPG (Brazil and Argentina) and if I could pick good argentinean players from the past (Makhen, super, etc) I could pretty much still work with playing with them. Besides these facts, the other half of the good argentineans are banned for having playing while suspended or using different accounts. And lastly, Canada and USA are countries, if I'm picking only brazilian players, why should I stay under the South America umbrella rather than just Brazil?
tl;dr why are you hating, Joel?

This looks like a lot of fun. I'd imagine that each region can field a pretty damn good team.

lookin forward to seeing how everyone's rosters pan out! should be a fun tourney for sure
Re: TPG Regions Cup 2012
FYI for captains, the matches for group play are already scheduled. Make sure you have 6, there can be no delays.
Re: TPG Regions Cup 2012
i'm technically in the south but i think i'm close enough to be considered for central if either of the 2 teams needs an extra person

also if Austin Keller sees this, stop being emo and go play for your country, you've been one of the biggest supporters of this type of tourney for at least 2 years it would be a shame to have you not play because you quit for a couple weeks! <3

Re: TPG Regions Cup 2012
I really don't know how much teams we could have since I don't know how many active players im/open would be interested. we would need someone willing to run the tournament as well. if we could gather up 4 teams by tonight, the leastest, perhaps we can add another group for these players! pm me if you'd like to help.nunz wrote:what about lower level region tourney intermediate and open players.

Is this tourney a Joke? I must assume so since it excludes the other 100+ TPG players.

Cause Invite is the most stable divisions in TPG and really is accountable for its success...

Re: TPG Regions Cup 2012
you guys gotta look at it from a logistics point of view. the last two drafts have been full on DISASTERS. the majority of players not showing up at all, being impossible to contact, even the people who declared themselves ringers couldn't ever be found. so tpg is giving this a shot as it has been an idea tossed around for about 10 years now. its only 2 weeks, it'll be fun to watch, and then next season starts.

I didn't just quit for two weeks, not being emo actually I'm really just over it, and I'm going on vacation the 7th to 21st, so even if I wanted to, I still can't play lolJaGGoNdd wrote:also if Austin Keller sees this, stop being emo and go play for your country, you've been one of the biggest supporters of this type of tourney for at least 2 years it would be a shame to have you not play because you quit for a couple weeks! <3

Well nunz hit the nail on the head. I've played invite as well Airdick. The drafts are a disaster cause people are to lazy to add someone to their steam friends cause it could damage their ego by having an open/I'm player on their friends list.

If anyone out there is surprised that people who are better than you are the ones typically starting in the draft matches, I invite you to look at every sports team ever to try and notice a pattern.
