i joined when darkhorse first joined, i believe that was around 2.1 and we had just decided trying to make our own team at the time was too much of a pain in the ass. I think it was 7v7 back at that point still, the people i played with were sir rendar, skwirut, tellah, darkhorse, alpha male, oxossi, atdi and a few others i can't particularly recall at the moment. I didnt stay for too long, because back then i had a stupid habit of quitting shit if i got bored(which i did quite often), but whatever it was about 9 or more years ago(i think).


Not that you asked, but i ran/played in deadbolt(dbolt) throughout all of its incarnations, the one with me, jdub, darkhorse, alpha, medias, kellen i believe was part of this one too at one point. After that was the baba, stiflers, varm, ace, cano group. Followed by todo, wintehs, moriar, and others i am also drawing blanks on. I know e-man at one point was in deadbolt as well lol.


I dunno, i've been around since 1.3b when STA was the league to be in and 1911 first started. I've played through every version of dod and in the invite division of whatever the main league was throughout all versions as well. 20ID/sK during 1.3b, highball and deadbolt through 2.0/2.1 and in the 3.x's deadbolt again and other various teams. I was in RBC/uTi for a short bit as well. Anyways, back to the point of the thread, we arent asking for anyone amazing(cause we are pretty far from that) just someone who wants to have some fun.

I seem to recall CSB doing just average in open. Some of these players haven't played in like half a decade, and if they're still good they'll be moved after preseason.

Yeah, we put CSB in IM right off the bat and they proceeded to go 0-4 and die. Sooooo, we'll see what happens. This is why we have preseason!!!!

I wasn't suggesting moving them up. They will get moved up as soon as TPG sees them necessary. Its a nice team on paper that will last all of preseason in open in my opinion. We should try and get CSB back too. Go Defiance!

added todo, and yah its been about half a decade since ive really played. im pretty sure i'll be terrible. also, we want to stay in open, we know we arent that practiced, plus not all of the people listed as "starters" can make it every week and we have some guys who are brand new to the game on our roster as well. we belong in open, not all of those 6 can make it every week. please dont move us.

Everyone's has gone to that level haha. Most of us who played in the days of STA, CAL and CPL are all reaching late 20's to 30's haha. You should fit in fine!
