Do the 'Dear' thread titles do something to the front page?

I was just giving you a hard time. There is a bug with how wordpress pulls thread titles to the top right box on the front page. If the thread titles are too long it will bump all of the other threads down. It's a minor thing, but I often have to edit down people's thread titles so they don't cause problems. My attempts as of yet to code out the bug have been futile given to way in which phpbb and wordpress are hacked together.
