That's because the respectful and responsible ones aren't going out to bars "looking to fuck shit up." Don't worry, the ones that do stupid shit like that end up getting in trouble (and getting caught) and getting reduced in rank / kicked out. The Marine Corps isn't any different than anywhere in the civilian world when it comes to douchebags being present, it's just that they stand out more to you due to the fact that they have a title for you to remember them by. Claiming to be a Marine is like pissing on the graves of all the Marines both past and present who gave their lives fighting for this country while asking for nothing in return. For the record mogers, I didn't know about it or bring it up. I just said "ya, what he said" and I literally just watched that movie so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use it in a burn. And ya we're all older and adults now (some of us) and I get where you're coming from but everything is fair game as far as Im concerned. IT's really no different than "yo mama" jokes.
