TPG CS:GO Update

Post by Tin Bad »

As days go by we get closer and closer to being ready to launch the TPG Counter-Strike:Global Offensive League. The Start Date and Map List are still on the TBD list, however the CS:GO League Rules have been updated (some changes may still occur).

New and/or Updated Rules have been changed to a red font, however it is advised that you read over the entire rules list as I may have forgotten to change the font color on some.

The league will be played with these game settings:

Match Settings:
  • Game Mode - Classic Competitive
    Rounds per Half - 15
    Starting Cash - $800
    Freeze Time - 12 seconds
    Buy Time - 20 seconds
Round Time Limit - 2 minutes and 0 seconds
    Zeus Weapon disabled
Players are allowed to carry up to 3 different grenades.
    • 2 Flash bangs are allowed and will count as 1 Grenade.
Overtime Match Settings:
  • Rounds per Half - 3
    Starting Cash - $10,000
League rules and League Configs will be updated with Valves game updates. As the game changes and progresses we will adapt with them. Ex. Once Valve enables the restriction of Molotov and Incendiary Grenades then we may disable those items.

Edit: Updated Match Settings

I believe when I scrimmed this game once it was first to 10 on each half. Tin Bad do mean 10 rounds each half or first to 10?

It's best of 30, so first to 16 and 15 round halfs. Always been that way.
I'm also glad we get to have 2 flashes, some leagues in sweden only allow one which is retarded.

Probably because the game is retarded.

The way its set now is each half is 10 rounds for a total of 20.

The normal game sets each half to 15 rounds for a total of 30.

We ca do 15/15 instead of 10/10 if you all prefer. I thought a little shorter with 10/10 would be better and not take as long.

I haven't played cs (any version) in leagues before, so I don't really know which is better, but if there is a "community standard" you might be better off following that at first. Once you build a larger number of teams then maybe look into making tweaks to the format.

More rounds gives me more time to execute brilliant come backs.
