Sometimes I wonder if I haven't made this clear enough. Playing and losing is better for your playoff record than just taking an FF win. Hope you guys can get this played.

we showed up to lose they didnt show up to win.
my team only shows on sundays.

Unfortunately people have taken advantage of the system and left defiance with no choice but to value an FF win as nothing. One season I think it was htk took 3 FF wins... People have lives if you cant adjust an hour early or later its not really fair to use default as your reasoning. you have to remember we are in an era of west coast and east coast playing together. Just play it next week if you have to back to back with you match. Your not losing or winning anything by FFing, that is all they are saying, not blaming you either but you join TPG with the assumption your going to 'play' all the matches. Like it or not it works this way, just be glad their is only 1 brazi team in Main and Cass is on it. Ask bubbles they'll explain. Happy Carnival.

Yes. We joined TPG with the assumption that we would play the matches at THE TIME TPG SAYS IS MATCH TIME. Sorry that I'm on call for work 24/7 and can't guarantee my attendance any other time.

so take the ff i dont really care it was just a small explaination. just dont get moody when u miss the playoffs by one win.

ive played a number of 'not default' time matches because we had 2 west coast players on our team. I know what its like to have to move your schedule around but if u cant do it from time to time maybe league play isnt for u anymore cause thats just how shit is today.

That's quite the fallacy. Despite this FF, NoGo will likely do better in the regular season than you. Meaning they'll likely make it to playoffs, while you may not.

Good to know that this is at least partially motivated by spite, though.

I don't understand why you even made this situation public. I already said that I wanted to deal with this in private, but I guess not. So if you really want to just say it here, then fine.

Blah, blah, blah. Please. Everyone here knows when the default time and day is, so I guess that just means there's no room for rescheduling at all, huh? So you guys are the type that if you can't make default time/day at all, then you're just going to forfeit? Not even one attempt to play the game? I would much rather lose the match than win by forfeit, just as long as I got to play. I, too, only show up once a week and when I do, I would like to play. I don't understand that logic. I entered this league to play the game. You know, where you move around and shoot people?

On call 24/7? You really said this? No one cares if you're on call 24/7. All of us here are on call for something, whether work-related or just life in general. If you don't want to play, then don't. If you can't play, then find an agreed ringer. You guys are really that anal?

We're all busy in one way or another. I do hope we can make this up in the future, but you guys either need to stop being jerks or be more flexible.

The whole point of match comm is to communicate. There was no communication whatsoever. You guys just made an executive decision on being played at default without talking to us whatsoever? Please let it be known that I made the first attempt in contacting you by requesting 10 PM EST, and I believe I requested that Thursday.

And I don't know about you guys, but when I receive an e-mail about anything (in this case, the notification we get when our match is posted), I pretty much answer back right away. Why? Because I have my shit together.

You requested in the day the schedules came out, Khoi. Which was early because of the time off. So on, Tuesday we requested 10 est. then didnt hear a response from Clan PC until saturday at 8:58 est. (2 Minutes before the response deadline for initiating contact via match comm) and probably only because defiance told you too, because I contacted him three minutes before said time of 8:58 est.

No server information was given to nogo. I checked match comms again at 10 est, after I saw WONDERbread playing in the LAB match. Then around 1015 est we got a ff loss.

It would help us organize matches if players chose not to alias on the TPG site so we can contact ppl through steam friends if we are friends with them.

Tuesday? Awesome. More than enough time to look at the request and consult team members. Also, just as an fyi, acetamino also has access to schedule matches / view match comm so don't think he pulled those times out of a hat.

And we requested 10 est on default day. an hour after default time because we have west coast players who are working until 9est (6p). So a team accustomed to default day default time shows up at 9 but are nice enough to wait until 10 est (maybe scrim or play cs go or ring for another match. all of which ppl on your team did sunday night) in the hopes of playing a competitive game that is fun for all parties.

this whole quote is bullshit.I posted saturday night at 8.58 east that the match had to be played at 9 east.I left the server info on match com i may have been a little late on my part and im sorry for that.But on the other hand we came to your vent two or three times to try to find out what was going on and no one was even in there.And as fare as the ff is concerned i posted it at 9.15 east before i rung for the lab match.I dont make TPG rules 9.00 east is default thats when my team shows up.Two of my players cant play after 10 east.IF you care about this match that bad we can play tonight may be 3 on 6 but what to hell.

Im in pc , i wake up at 4:45 every morning. If we play at 10, match will usually end a bit before 11... i really dont feel like having less than 6hours of sleep for a 10years old video game, especially after partying the whole weekend.

9 or earlier otherwise i dont play, dont care which day though as long as its not friday or saturday.

I was in vent before default time and, afaik, so was Jared. I don't recall ever being paged of messaged aside from Paul Coon who had messaged me a bit before default time. I redirected him to Jared or Khoi. We had at least 5 people at what I thought was the scheduled match time. I don't really know or honestly care to know what the fuck is going on, but I presume you didn't talk to Jared or Khoi directly else Paul wouldn't have had to ask to me.
