oh man, second post, but as much as i love chris, i love this post even more. not because anyone on this forum knows what it's like to be good at this game on LAN, but because it further proves that the newer players will never know. and that's only 10%. the other 90% is tox's gif. he was pretty good on LAN when everyone good stopped playing every day and he decided to show his beautiful face in 2028

lol when I went to w2z I bootcamped for a week or so.. I had not played for over a year or something.. I was pulled out of the woodwork for that Lan. I thought I did so so but could have played better. The DoD US OPEN! However, we were a solidified team in cevo or leagues and what not.. and I top fragged at that LAN 3rding for our team. (As much as corey doesn't want to believe. But hes a tad delusional some would say.)

I think you were sniping at the LAN I went to in NY. I don't remember scores but I do remember you killing more people than I thought you would on the local area. If Corey says he got more kills than you, I'm going to have to disagree though, just out of principle :ugeek:

I think we can all agree that Flakk88's performance at fragmart 2k3 set the bar so astronomically high for DoD LAN performances that it was ultimately never matched.

If my memory serves me correctly, I was the overall top fragger at the DoD US Open. And come to think of it, I forgot to wear my #dodealers tag the entire time.

I gave him a special pair as a gift when he arrived. They sure "optimized his vision" He improved 100% after the bootcamp.

So, fun story since I think a lot of people who now frequent these forums don't know it, this was actually an online match (Cal-I finals) that coL played from the Lethal Gamers LAN center. Check-Six forced them to play on a Socal server because we didn't want to play them with 10 ping to a Dallas server. Greg "coL.chaos[dt]" Conlon would later claim that they were lag spiking pretty badly, I can't confirm or deny those allegations because I wasn't there and their ping didn't fluctuate on the scoreboard during the match. However, I think the final frag tally went 2:1 for us in the Cal-I finals, and they obviously played a lot better in the CPL finals, so I wouldn't doubt that there was lag involved.
