dpk were just fucking around(but i belive they won first half but dont trust me on that), and winnfield decided to leave, winnfield filed a ff win, dpk disputed their ff loss(because they were still in the server when winnfield left), and dpk recieved a ff win instead.

Is this what you´re talking about?

this one was dpk with bazooka's leading the winnfield team to leave, and the rule to be changed on the tpg website if I am correct.

No.

dpK won first half by a small margin, maybe 10-20 points. Second half we were up by 100 in the first 5 minutes because dpK was messing around. In the first 5 minutes alone they had 2 people afk in their spawn for a total of 3-4 minutes, and another 2-3 people who didn't get more than 20 feet outside of spawn for the initial 2 minutes or so. A couple were shooting each other and TKing in their spawn, too.

We asked rwc if we could just leave. This is where some miscommunication happened as we thought we were okay to leave, while rwc did not explicitly state that.

We ended up leaving, and then dpK started capping out as much as possible in the remaining time.

The issue, in our minds, boils down to the fact that because there's no rule against dpK's antics, we were forced to play a match where they had afks sitting in spawn, they were TKing and shooting each other, and they had 3-4 bazookas on their team. It was a giant waste of time, and we found it ridiculous that after 5 minutes and 100 points we had to endure it.

Basically dpK shouldn't just waste our time, we shouldn't have left the server until there was confirmation, and rwc should see that there was logic behind the decision of leaving the server.

HOWEVER: dpK is not THE reason W&S has talked about disbanding for one of the leagues. Scheduling 2 matches per week has been too tough as our schedules are kind of inconsistent. Thus we wanted to just focus on one league. Monday is simply better for us overall. Joey is trying to salvage it, though, and I told him I'd help him out if he can convince everyone to finish out the season.

Also, as a side note Bazookas and MGs should be banned from both TPG and DCN. The maps that have Bazookas in spawn should be legit to use. This can be done by changing the config.

Despite we are now playing in different times, I think that when you play in a Upper ladder you need to behave accordingly. I rather doubt that if we were all back in 2004-2007 messing around in the respawn would be tolerated in *matches between Upper teams.

I was the only one who wanted to continue playing (MOAR FOTW FOOTAGE).

It was kind of funny that we were given the win it was like 577-100 something.
Somehow we exploited the limit of panzerjager, so it's a forfeit loss for us as well lol. There was no limit, we didn't exploit anything, we are being punished for an error on TPG's part! CORRUPT!!!

Nah I'm not worried at all, our match was fun first half, so gg dudes.

on a side note, something should be done about teams doing this. i know dpk did it in this match and against us they had people just running around flying off of things trying to 1 luger people instead of using their weapons (hichris!) and then 4 of them left with like 5 minutes left in the second half of an actually close match, just to end up having all of them reconnect with a minute left. basically if a team is going to play like that and waste another team's time, they shouldn't be allowed to play. it disrupts the entire league, dpk should at least be given a warning that if anything like this happens again they get marked dead or someone gets suspended etc etc. it's a bummer that one team not caring is going to take one of the best teams out of the league, but hopefully the winnfield guys can work it out to finish out the season

refer back to team eA in invite in 2005 when they would bazooka mg carbine knife and ended up i believe being just marked dead because of it? someone correct me if im wrong but i believe something like that happened once before and that was when the game had teams to spare, letting it happen now and having it cause teams to quit seems kind of contradictory to the idea of keeping the game alive lol don't get me wrong, i like most of dpk, but i think i speak for a lot of people when i say if a team is going to not be playing tpg anymore, i would rather it be them than winnfield. of course best case scenario is both teams play and dpk doesn't do shit like that anymore

I joined to be a backup. New job so wasn't sure of my travel schedule. Still up in the air (Disney is taking forever to finish paperwork) how much I'll be on the road, but nothing major on the horizon that will preclude play on Sunday/Monday. Was fun to play different guns each week though.

What I love is that I always played and play 100% legit and rocked OB so bad on muhle that he went all CAL-corrupt, got me banned, and is still pissed off about it 3 years later. Best preseason map/scrim/12man ever.
