That just about sums up Lebron's performance.

Sports stars do what they want, hell Dante Stallworth killed a guy drunk driving and settled out of court for millions of dollars, still plays in the NFL. Regardless of his actions off the court, he still has more championships and probably always will.

I doubt this. I don't know why people think the window for Lebron James has come and gone. The problem with the Big 3 is Chris Bosh, not Lebron James.

They dump Bosh and they can free up that salary money for better role players.

Lebron's performance was the problem, he cost them the title this year.

He had bad 4th quarters, which yes, is a problem. However, dude had a triple double in the 3rd quarter for the Heat in game 5 before he vanished in the 4th.

He facilitated some amazing offense prior to the 4th quarter fades.

I don't care either way since I don't root for any NBA team in particular. But if you start going uber-stats the 3 people on the Heat that performed better than average were: Wade, Lebron, and Chalmers. Bosh performed below average.

I know stats don't take into account the necessary quarter-by-quarter breakdown, but Bosh sucked the entire series save for 1 game.

Miami is really only a 2-deep caliber team with only 1 significant role player, Chalmers. This has been the case all season. Udonis Haslem, Mike Bibby, Ilgouskas, Howard, etc. are all reaaally old. All didn't do much and certainly didn't offer good minutes on the court to be honest.

The Mavs on the other hand had like 6 or 7 guys giving good minutes.

Miami has no depth and it is overpaying big time for Bosh.

I think Udonis Haslem was one of Miami's best players in that series. That's not saying much, but still..

Bosh isn't a big-time post player. A lot of his game is in the same space as Wade and LBJ's. Miami also doesn't have the outside shooting that Dallas had. Terry and Kidd both played out of their minds this playoffs (45% 3pt FG??? WHAT?) and you're just not going to beat a team shooting that well from the outside when your 3 best players rely on layups and midrange jumpers and you don't have role players that can reliably hit 3pt shots. Ask the Lakers how your gameplan works out when all of the guys that you ask to sit at the 3pt line and make shots... don't make shots, and the other team's role players don't miss them

I think his time was negligible. 24 minutes 5.6 ppg. He did have 5.2 rbpg which is offering some insight.

The ironic thing about the series is - Jason Terry averaged 19.1 pp36mins with Lebron James on the floor, his primary defender. He averaged 8.5 pp36mins with Lebron on the bench.

I lol'd at that stat.

I'm too cheap to get ESPN Insider to look at Hollinger's PER for the finals, but I assume Wade and Chalmers were the highest for the Heat and then it just kind of nose dives thereafter.

I'm too cool to care about the NBA, but I assume stats just confirm what everyone saw out of LeBrON.
