Help me learn to play DoD properly

Please PM me if you can teach me how to play DoD like a pro. I've been told that I don't play the right way and it annoys everyone I play with. I just don't know what to do and I really don't want people to be upset when they play vs me. No cheaters plz, I know how to cheat just fine, thanks.
