I have been messing with HLAE trying to replicate a thing I have seen in a lot of movies. I haven't found a whole lot about doing this on the web, but I turned to here to see if any of you know how to make this effect in HLAE. what i want it to look like
Not a betting man but my guess is you have to record the same clip twice. Once with wireframe and once without. Then you have to sync them up, layer them and apply some sort of filter so the top layer video is transparent in the center???
I really have no idea about video editing I'm just curious to see if I'm even remotely correct.

I have always thought the same thing, does someone who is good at editing know?

yeah, that's with a wireframe effects ontop of the regular clip, and using a cookie cutter or masking it. The colors look like it was done in adobe after effects.
I kinda got in down in this video, but as you can see it doesn't last very long. I don't know why but I just don't see the models from ct spawn to inside. 2lZYjXG83VE
i guess you just used the ineye demo of n0thing? some stuff like models and objects only appear when the player is near them, you need a hltv demo if you want to wireframe without any problems at all.
