Technically the ban should start from the time of the infraction, but i assume that it has been done previously at the time of the ruling, so unfortunately to be consistently fair to others who have been banned it has to remain consistent, until a more clear and permanent rule is written. Though I have not received a motion to vote on such a ruling.

Kinda wish considering he came on here and bragged about going to the lan, you could make the suspension longer.

He's been a fag that sucks at the game TWICE. I seem to think the league has somewhere in the rules that if you are banned for a SECOND time, the ban would double to TWO years. Doesn't deserve to play, doesn't deserve to go to lan, doesn't deserve back in the league in the same time as a first offender, imo.

Historically, cheaters have never been banned from participating in DoD lans. I see no reason for them to be banned now. They won't be able to cheat on LAN so it doesn't matter anyway.

I believe CPL had a policy that would have prevented a team with a banned cheater from keeping their seeding, or something along those lines, to discourage teams from cheating online to improve their seeding at the LAN event. I don't think anyone has been banned from a LAN for being caught cheating online.
