TPG Summer Cup

Ready for a sizzling summer night of dod? On July 28th TPG brings back the Night Cup for a full evening of great matches, the chance to play with new people, and for a lucky 6, the crown of the Summer Night Cup. Check out the details below but make sure to sign up soon to secure your spot.

It will be a one night tournament with a total of 8 teams. Please be prepared to play as few as 1 match and as many as 3 matches. There is no rescheduling, First round is at 9 pm est, Semis at 10, and Finals at 11. Each team will consist of 8 members (6 starters and two backups).

The first 64 players that sign up will be eligible for a team. If we reach 64 players, any additional players will be put on a ringers roster, and those will be the official ringers for the tournament. You cannot use a ringer if a team member is available, this is for fun, winning isn't everything. The minimum number needed is 48 players, if we don't reach it, the tournament will scrapped.

To sign up simply go to http://www.tpgleague.org/NightCup/ and join the "Cup Entry" team. The password is "join" Please use your real handle when joining, add the last division played and add your first and second weapon class choice. (Example: Tin Bad - IM - Rifle/Heavy)

We will also need 8 players who are willing to be captains. Captains should be near the same skill level and must be able to communicate effectively in English. Teams will be chosen in a draft format as long as there are 8 people in the same skill range who want to be captains. If not, the Admins and AC Team will just try and make the teams even. To be a captain email me (tinbad@tpgleague.org) or steam message me (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197963831480/) and I'll add you to the list. If you are chosen to be a captain, we will pick teams July 24th at night, around 1030 EST (if that doesn't work, we will try another night to pick teams).

Quarters - harrington
Semis - chemille
Finals - anzio

This Tournament is open to all players except those currently suspended for cheating.

*TPG will also be using this Tournament to test out an anti-cheat client with the community. If all goes well, we will consider using it for the upcoming season. More details to come on Monday regarding the Anti-Cheat Client.

**TPG Rules apply (New Rules and changes to some rules will be announced on Monday July 22, 2013 and WILL apply for the tournament). Demos and SS are necessary. Disputes will not be handled until after the tournament is over.

DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU CAN'T/MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY, YOU RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

If you missed out on signing up, sign up on the ringers list, as people have flaked out in the past and the top spot on ringers gets moved over til the draft.

If you signed up and are now not sure if you can play, there are a few people who would love to have a spot, so remove yourself if you are unsure if you can play.
