Calli hasn't been online for a while, AFAIK he said he'll come hack around late september/early october and try and get it running again.

Even if he can't, I'd rather play no DoD than play against dumbasses like yourself. If all those frenchies are too scared to play like last season, good riddance.

Without us, the french clans, dod will never running again ^^ Since 2006 we are ( with the german a little ) the 1st nation on dod.

Then calli killed french clans : dod is dead. HF in next season with ~ 4 random .eu clans

i dont see a reason we cant let our euro friends play with the regulars in TPG!! why not? ping difference?
Brazillians play with 300, euros would only have to deal with 120-150.....nbd. More teams, more fun.

It's not so much the ping that is the problem, it's the time difference. You guys usually play at 9pm EST on Sundays which for those in the UK is 2am. In Spain, France, Germany etc it's 3am. Most people are tucked up in bed ready for work on Monday at that kind of time.

If you want to get more Euro players involved in the NA league (which isn't a bad idea of course) it would just mean persuading the US teams to play at like 6pm EST or 7pm EST on a regular basis..

Having said that, while I would be happy to see more Euro players in the NA tpg league, the reality is that even if you succeeded in shifting the match time on Sundays to accommodate them I don't think enough teams/players would sign up to make it worthwhile

In the end you would go out of your way to play earlier and they still might struggle to field a full team at that kinda time.

If the game died it is because of awfull communication and because no new season has yet been announced.
It has little or nothing to do with this silly ban.

The whole gather/scrim scene seems to be more active than before. Maybe one of them needs to step up and help calli if he is too busy.

I'm with nik on this too, maybe announcing the season ahead of time to give teams a chance to sign up wouldn't be a bad idea? It seems nobody knows what is going on and everyone keeps asking if another season is even happening. Doesn't take much to post a "Get your teams signed up, league starts in 4 weeks" surely?

There aren't many playing gathers. But I do think they are active.
Announcing a new league will attract more players that are curently inactive. Like myself. I don't care much for 12mans and gathers.

yeh, wouldn't mind playing TPG.US but I'd not be in bed til 3am, most of our clan is finnish and that's 2 hours ahead of me so 5am for them

we'd need to be playing around 4-5pm EST, at which time most of you guys are having dinner and getting on with ur sundays so it's never gonna work.

I think TPG.EU could work this season, but probably only if we merge invite and main but split up the better teams so nobody dominates. it's still early, let's see if calli is gonna come back in a few weeks.

Which is probably true. I don't know what happened to germany though. They seem to be lagging behind lately.
Few good (all) german teams since fnaps.

Why did fnaps die. Probably because they banned blank. And blank was the wannabe (and active) kid that probably motivated them to play, got wars etc. Funny how we didn't see the Germans whine so much about tpg and ED killing dod when blank got banned.

And I bet loker doesn't even speak for the entire french community. many french people and clans have more sense than him. Your a whiner and a careface loker. To think you even put the line about calli killing dod in your movie is sad. And funny.

Calli is the only reason you guys have a place to play. it was a lot of fucking work getting the league started for both of us. You frenchies can whine and cry all you want about floyd but he was cheating. So you can either deal with it and move on and help a European community have some semblance of a community, or help it die. Its no ones fault but your own.

Maybe TPG could have euro teams play each other more often? or something? I think it could/should be done. I remember in the CAL days the euro teams were the most feared for their amazing and complex strats. I'd LOVE to see them join us.

Just make sure you got a big roster, and try to be understanding of the time difference. Bigger league, more teams, everybody wins.

CoffeeLemonTea - Hong Kong - Plays at 7am for us
SuperMiles - England - Plays in the middle of the night (3am? cant remember what he said)
If you really wanna play in the u.s league, you gotta give a little to get a little aswell. Make a big roster, and do your best to come to an agreement and field 6. Matches figuratively could be played on any weekend day from 5pm - midnight EST.

In the end you would go out of your way to play earlier and they still might struggle to field a full team at that kinda time.

Make a huge roster. It will work trust me

Magic Nades - Red Dogg, Katsato, Snoops, crank, SoCal Dustin, naz, avenger etc....definite main team.
