Stamp, aka Nostradamus, has already predicted a WR win. How can you refute that?

Actually. Mountain team for WR will most likely rock. But Mid team will fail vs Airnick and Netherhell. Now long will be interesting

SuaP is starting:
cRacKers - Rifle
Cheez - Rifle
deleo - Untenbotter and Greasegun
Kadanal - Sniper
PhilTheAmmoGuy - Heavy
Apaz - Heavy
Can you say domination?
I'm the 7th in case Kadanal can't make it. Sometimes he's flaky...

Good call Scotty. We will be trying to scrim today if you are around, as I'm sure we will be missing a starter or two.

Do you guys have screenshots?
I'm curious to see how BlackHawk did, I'm guessing he choked and did horrible.

21-39
Re: TPG Lower Finals
BlackHawk, I was in the Bahamas during our last match against SuaP. I did not play, we had 2 backup heavies playing.
I would have aided Nugz in carrying the team had I been there.
Good try though.

Yes.
Re: TPG Lower Finals
Stamp, don't get cocky. You've seen what's happened to Blackhawk.
Talking shit by ball riding another team is pretty fucking lame.
Win a league, then you can talk some shit.(TPG Lower doesn't count)

Re: TPG Lower Finals
still cant because its 2011 and the game is virtually dead from a competitive standpoint.
I still dont see why people are calling each other bad in this game. compared to 2004/5 most of us are terrible when you look at how the competition was back then and how pretty much everyone on these forums played. the level of play just doesnt exist anymore, so the skill level has decreased dramatically.
tldr: you/i are all shitty, stop living in denial.

Re: TPG Lower Finals
i've actually had the exact opposite experience
compared to 2004/2005 most of you who couldn't dream of getting out of cal-m at the absolute peak of your skill are now better than everyone i've ever played in cal-i, cevo-p, lans, etc. COMBINED
the only constant is that toxinator still cheets

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Re: TPG Lower Finals
I remember when "12mans" didn't exist.
There was still an occasional "pug", but it was easy to get 4-5 scrims in with your actual team, against other actual teams, on any weeknight.
I think that's what a lot of these late-era players have a hard time coming to terms with. It's really not that they are that bad of players, because they are the few that still play the game ALL THE TIME, but in the scheme of things it's apples to oranges.
Another thing is, when the community was still creating itself (2001-2004), it took much more than beating up on pugs or winning in general to be respected by the community. You had to put your time into helping out, posting on 1911 and not making a dbag out of yourself, and being on a well respected team, or building one from the ground up yourself.
In the few 12mans I've joined in the last several weeks, there have been plenty of people that I've never heard of before (possibly cheating their asses off), that expect me to suck their dick because of their K:D ratio in a 12man.
That would have never happened before.

Re: TPG Lower Finals
I was cal-m dod(high.p) and cal-im(friends from school) cs back in 2005. I remember being able to scrim whenever and as often as I wanted to. The last complete season was cal s14 when they still had invite. That was back in 2007 or so.
From what I remember, the game has changed a lot since way back in 03-05. Perhaps it's because so many people cheat. I just feel it's become much faster.
When I won main with FlatOut, our strategy was to just push.

Re: TPG Lower Finals
i just hope you guys realize that some of the late-era players have been playing since retail in 2003 but werent active in the community (1911, gotfrag) until later.
for instance i remember first starting to play with my brother when i was in middle school and our dad had bought us the cds for cs and also dod after the game had just "come out". at the time i never knew about the beta versions of the game and initially knew little about the dod community. eventually i joined gf, got to know more people, followed the game, scrimmed, played matches but just wasnt as committed as some people were to it until i got older.
after growing up with this game since middle school it wasnt that hard to get relatively good. and even though i was new to the game in 2003, within a couple of years i was decent enough to play competitively or in leagues.
so, like motive said, there are some people who may seem completely random to you guys who have been playing for 7 almost 8 years now and have become better players. its true that the competition hasnt been the same as it was before over the majority of that time but it wasnt absolutely nonexistent, not so much that people couldnt have gotten better at this game.

Re: TPG Lower Finals
There definitely are people that are legit good and would have fit in back in 2004, but there are so many people now who look like kellen in a scrim and squadleader in a match.
