BF3 was fun as fuck. I already preordered BF4 but haven't had time to play lately. Will be playing this weekend though. BF3s map packs were actually unique unlike CoD rehash bullshit....same kids bitching about it are the ones who will go drop 60 bucks on the same game based off the Quake3 engine rofl.

All im saying is so far from what ive seen its a lot of cosmetic changes, but nothing like holy fuck wow yet.

played about 30 minutes of it earlier. The cosmetic's are a nice improvement. I'm kind of liking the change to the helicopters 2nd gunner. The rounds explode when they come into contact with an object. The overall steering of all the vehicles has changed. they make sharper turns than in bf3 and the fire rate of the machine guns on the air, ground, and water vehicles is a bit slower. Less bullets in some machine guns before that quick reload. Maps are giants. The test servers have lag spikes but don't see any other problems with it yet.

Didn't realize it was a free open beta! Thought you had to pre-order to get beta access. Downloading now, if anyone else wants to play sometime holler at me.

runs pretty crappy on my pc but i'm good for shooting some vehicles or sniping bitches out. Pretty sweet having people way up on sky scrapers now.

Yeah I have 2600k, an SSD, and two gtx 580s and I'm getting shit performance. Hopefully it will be fixed on release. I'm not a fan of shanghai either due to the capability of snipers to waste choppers bailing onto roofs to camp the whole game. I usually destroy the C skyscraper with an RPG at the beginning due to this.

i'm not getting much fps loss, but what i am getting is the massive server lag that's hitting everyone. it makes it feel like its fps issues, but its the servers just getting anally raped. a lot of elastic banding, i't obnoxious.
