Joeledmunds brought up a discussion of Season 33’s map rotation list and we figured it was time to start our official TPG discussion and vote on such issues. this is what came up when i did.
"You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

Never even posted on the site. I was banned from it before i even made an account.

Also in Open:
Masacre is 1st with 20 pts
d7 is 2nd with 18 pts ( beat ikario and exs, and has a Bye win worth 1point)
[Z]ik4RiO[Z] 3rd with 18 points (more games played in open than inx)
.eXS^ 4th with 18 points (more games played in open than inx and lost head to head against ikario & d7)
inx 5th with 18 points (only 5 games played in open)
6th o101
p20 7th
gsr 8th.

So you have inx in 2nd even though based on the TPG rules they should be in 5th. they have the same number of points as 3 other teams, but in the event of a tie, the FIRST tie breaker is "games played" which they only have 5 and we all have 8.

You also have exS ahead of ikario, even though they have the same amount of points, and ikario won head-to head.

THIS also on the TPG site:
"Playoff Formula - Teams will receive/lose the following points for each of the following:

Win = 3 Points
Loss = 1 Point
Bye = 1 Point
FF Win = 0 Points
Late registration/Missed Matches = 0 Points
FF Loss = -2 Points

Tie Breaker:
Matches Played
Head-to-head tie breaker
Least forfeit losses
Least forfeit wins
Least Losses

Based on the rules on the TPG site, the standings should look exactly like i have shown you.

Bit confused on the #3 seeding. Logic behind it? We got a ff win in week 8 because the team dies, no way we're getting that makeup match. We beat nogo the week before. Seems odd as wins against teams have been taken into account in previous seasons when the records were the same.

Regardless, are matches starting up on the 20th?

Yes, quarters start on the 20th.

In regards to the FF win, the captain (idk if that's you or not) should have created a ticket to turn that into a bye or we could have matched you up with someone else wanting to make it up (if there was another team available). That would have at least given you another 1 point.

I made a post on the TPG site about making up matches and having ff's switched to byes. The reason we don't automatically do it is to get teams more involved in trying to get their matches made up rather than sitting around and just taking points for ff's. It looks like in your case there was no one to make up the match against..but from our perspective we didn't know what was going on (if you were gonna make it up or that SAB was even dead). We saw you guys communicate in match comm and none of you opened a ticket to have it switched to a bye so we thought you may have planned another day or something..and once the time passed we just gave both teams the appropriate set of points for what you had recorded.

Matches played include matches from other divisions and such. This is for teams that join TPG week 5 vs a team that has played all season.

Playoff seeding day is the day we all lose our minds because we don't wanna face the team we are up against, didnt you know?

I for example, don't want to play d7. I found a mistake that shuffled two other teams around, but still have to play d7. i tried tho!

Every match is listed as pending until a score is reported. Then it would show the score, FFW, FFL, or BYE.

If a team(SaB in this case) reports an FFW/L before the agreed upon match time, the system automatically puts the other team in a pending queue, incase there is another FFW, it will then automatically match the 2 FFWs together. You are not used to seeing this happen, because I didn't use this feature.

I spoke to Jared and he cleared everything up about what happened. I didn't know anything about the support ticket to make an unplayable ff into a bye. I also never look at the TPG site, so that explains that.

What an amazing match by far the most exciting I've played in in a long time.

gg to d7 that was one hell of a match. They surely gave it their all and it was a very enjoyable experience. No negs, no bitching, from either team, just a great game that im thankful to be a part of.

Great match guys. We were feeling pretty good after the first half and then you really put us back on our heels in the 2nd. After you capped the 2nd time we really had to reassess what we were doing, and fortunately managed to get it together.
