I have Beats Studio Wireless. I use them a great deal.

The sound quality is really pretty good, so is the adaptive noise canceling once you get used to the sense of it turning on and off on you. I have a giant meathead so there was some discomfort the first few days, I even had to develop some calluses on my ears to really get comfortable. They fit really pretty tight for the noise canceling.

What you really sacrifice, especially at the price point, is accuracy. They are quite bass heavy. Basically sounds like they are set up to reproduce a live hip-hop or rock/pop mix, not a studio (irony?).

But, I get a ton of use out of them just because of the functionality. I use them primarily with my iPad and just stream podcasts and pandora and what not as I'm working on house projects. The range is pretty good for Bluetooth.

However, the Sennheiser HD 558's I got for half the price easily produce much more accurate sound.

i used a pair of the smaller circular ones that go partially around the ear. they have generally good sound quality however are extremely uncomfortable over prolonged use. i would say that any pair of sennheiser headphones(which i've exclusively bought for gaming over the past 10 years or so) are better. they are fashionable right now though :P

A month or so ago I was looking into getting some beats my self. I researched them on the internets, almost ordered them but I decided to go try them on at best buy first. Long story short, I'd rather get a gummer from a toothless meth head (male of female) than own a pair of those things.
