Germany is going to be tough to win but maybe losing Neymar before semis will spark the desire to win that only David Luiz and Thiago Silva are seeming to have and needs to be spread to the rest of the Brazilian squad so perhaps we might have a chance. As for tomorrow's matches, Netherlands will roll Costa Rica and Argentina will play terribly but will win their match against Belgium.

Said by whom? Olé? The Guardian? Neymar had a serious injury on his back and it wasn't even fault. If you're still buthurt by the penalty on Fred you should actually open your mind, watch the other matches and perceive that if there is a con it is against Brazil not the opposite.

Has anyone checked to make sure the Argentinian team isn't cheating?

From what we've seen from Argentinian dod players, one could only assume about 90% of their team is on illegal drugs or doing their best to avoid playing within the rules

Also they have the worst penalty record in history. Losing in worldcup 98, eurocup 92, 96 and 2000 (also missing 2 penalty's regular time)

and this is why a coach should never rely on 1-3 players to make a difference. Brazil without Thiago Silva and Neymar barely know what they are doing lol.

Before the tournament, I bet on germany to win, but I could only find 6/1 odds which I thought was a bit low. Though now they're odds on at 8/11 so I guess it wasn't too bad

I am happy that Argentina won. They will lose in the finals whilst Brazil will have a chance of a "slight" redemption with the bronze medal. I would also hate to have Netherlands to be runners up for the 4th time.

Yeah, Nick. Van Persie got food poisoning that lasted until today so I've heard in the news here. Also, Van Persie is known to not score whenever his teams reaches the later knockout stages while scoring a lot of goals during the group stages lol. Sneijder wasn't on a good day either. They could have won but failed against Argentina's defense.

Waiting for nik's inputs (he probably rage deleted everyone on steam for the 10th time by now).

Argentinian tactic seems to be "everybody defend like crazy, and hope messi does something". don't think that shit's gonna fly against germany. didn't think it would work against holland to be fair, but they had a bit of an off day
