jaggon won some many championship rings, that putting him into this starting 6 category would have been an insult to him and his greatness.ward wrote:WAIT. WHERE'S JAGGON? WTF?
tugger, this is the greatest ever list. this is not the least talented and biggest loser that dod has ever seen list because he definitely made that starting 6. it includes flux, rws, sp3c-bullet, super dave, tonymontana, and still debating on the final starter to that team.tugger wrote:I dont see tonymontana on that list... it must be wrong

you can't put them all in. in my opinion, when it comes to snipers in this game, it was tofuman and scorch. the rest are just fighting for second best.akiro wrote:no mention of marshal or plex?
you know, if i had to pick the #1 player ever, it could be ninjuh. largely because of the fact that he was very close to being the heavy on my list, but also pretty damn close to being one of the rifles also. if i had to make a 2nd and 3rd team, he would be 2nd team heavy and 2nd or 3rd team rifle. he was THAT good with the rifle. and i saw it first hand while playing on a team w/ him. it made me wonder why he heavied for so many years.ComptonAssTony wrote:Rifles: strifetoe, toxinatoR, bleargh!

ninjuh is way underrated imo. no one really remembers him as an elite because he did crazy shit like taking a BAR to train on rr1 and rr2 and constantly rushing mid on harry with an stg. the thing was he locked down that part of the map and allowed his team to focus elsewhere.sevEN wrote:you know, if i had to pick the #1 player ever, it could be ninjuh. largely because of the fact that he was very close to being the heavy on my list, but also pretty damn close to being one of the rifles also. if i had to make a 2nd and 3rd team, he would be 2nd team heavy and 2nd or 3rd team rifle. he was THAT good with the rifle. and i saw it first hand while playing on a team w/ him. it made me wonder why he heavied for so many years.ComptonAssTony wrote:Rifles: strifetoe, toxinatoR, bleargh!

i would say you have to either have dan or max on the team. i put max in there because i picked henry to snipe. if i picked dan to snipe, i might have stuck ninjuh in there to heavy with cableguy.knockout wrote:sniper: kind of interchangeable between dan/henry. dan is better at never missing a shot in the right spot. henry is better at piling up the kills. dan had a much better team, so henry had to frag more. on a "best team ever in the world ever" it really wouldn't matter. i'd pick dan because i felt he was a better all around teammate. but i never played a whole lot of dod with henry
rifles: deadbeat #1, dorito #2, and then ward or docano as the 3rd. because class limits. i may like fusion more, because he'd use the mp40 in spots where it was better (anzio)
heavies: really hard not to pick coL.chaos here. Assuming we're limiting ourselves to mortals, I'd go with ninjuh and max. I may be picking max here because he's my friend. but it's hard to not pick him after how he completely dominated CPL 2005. His K:D was higher than most snipers if I remember correctly. because I didn't actually answer the question for the first two classes, I'll add some other names for heavies. cableguy and profiction were also right there
naw our best was as you wrote but with nuker instead of jizz (jizz and kami came after when we joined begrip). both good but that u! team had incredible teamplay and chemistrynik wrote: I believe an1mal prefered the later team where kami was playing and he played hvy. I could be wrong.
i am wondering the same, but i can also see why people would leave him off. it is hard to place him. i put him as a rifle, although technically he was a heavy for x6. then he rifled for coL. also, team play and dod IQ were not things that he cared about much while he played, which makes him sort of a rogue player at times, so that might be a reason why.An1maL wrote:naw our best was as you wrote but with nuker instead of jizz (jizz and kami came after when we joined begrip). both good but that u! team had incredible teamplay and chemistrynik wrote: I believe an1mal prefered the later team where kami was playing and he played hvy. can't understand why so few of these american teams have kellen...wasn't he hands down best player at cpl 05 when dod was at peak?

I think he had hands down the best frag movie clip at CPL 05. I think the best player at the tournament was deadbeat, while max/dorito/tofuman/bleargh also stuck out as being really good, too. I wouldn't say kellen wasn't very good, but it's hard to say he's a top 6, assuming class limits. I think he falls just outside the top 3 at every class, which just improves his value as a player that much more.An1maL wrote:naw our best was as you wrote but with nuker instead of jizz (jizz and kami came after when we joined begrip). both good but that u! team had incredible teamplay and chemistrynik wrote: I believe an1mal prefered the later team where kami was playing and he played hvy. You know Papa J, back in 2005 I'd agree with you that replacing sparz with someone like dorito would be an improvement. But then sparz hopped on GI's CAL-open roster during that Cevo season to win himself an Open title. I pretty much saw first hand why he had a spot on that team. The dude LOVED the trash routes and he was a very smart player. Unfortunately he vanished before finals of Cal-open and we losttoxinatoR wrote:close thread.kanguhhh wrote:deadbeat

I'm not really sure. He was like 14 or 15 when he joined GI as a backup. He was always on to scrim and almost always top fragged against pretty good Cal-M/I squads back then. Needless to say it was not long before he was labeled a "known cheater". Trickstuf and Tweak did a lot of internal investigation like recording scrims and what not but I don't think he was ever banned and just left the scene before CEVO.avenger wrote:whatever happened to killjoy i think his alias was? kid was a beast.ComptonAssTony wrote:You know Papa J, back in 2005 I'd agree with you that replacing sparz with someone like dorito would be an improvement.
