Let that hate out boys. Who did you hate way back when, now, whenever for whatever reason. I'll start with my top 3.

3. EVERY BRAZILIAN THAT PLAYED FROM THEIR DIRT HUT EVER. For real those guys were annoying as fuck to play against and had flawless aim all while rambling jajaja 9/11 KATRINA random bullshit. Most hated BR would have to be caique/avatar. Shitty fuck head.

2. hxc - basically the epitome of internet nerd sensation. Even better now that we know he sent flowers to catfish c0urtney. The little bitch was good at dod i'll give him that but he was shit when it mattered and i was devastated I didn't get to play against him on LAN. Not to mention this swine got the worst tattoo EVER then bragged about it like he was hard.

1. Loki - Fuck this little mexican rat every way possible. Dude used to threaten me back in 2005 by spamming my IP on irc and threatening to DDOS me. I was on 56k then. He continued this for a while until he decided he better switch to dod:s since no one liked him and the only teams he could get on were garbage. He was shit at dod:s too.

I could go on and on. But I want to hear who others hated. God bless.

Liked the hate thread idea. I will follow:

1. Hated whenever we scrimmed DRUGS/gskill/flawless iterations coz biggie/dustin young/xternal were always somehow embedded and repeatedly cheated their balls off 3-5 minutes in the first half til the end. No joke it wasn't even fun.

2. As an admin, I hated every time a team spite disputed something or someone just because they were wrecked badly. Sad to see mvpz being disqualified in the playoffs against taylub's mindflow just because someone used different rates than the rules but that didn't gave them ANY advantage whatsoever. Hated forced FF's as well.

3. With very few exceptons like xtreme and Super I (still) fucking hate every single argentinean DoD player. jajaja is the most ridiculous internet laugh ever invented. Arrogant and pompous shit heads.Not to mention most of the hate towards us came from these retards who preferred to FF marches instead or playing them and constantly multi-accounting to bypass suspensions.

4. Hated whenever I lost a match due to a cap out I could've prevented by hitting a shot that I shouldn't have missed earlier in the first place.

5. Hated to play against players who knew that playing against people with high ping wasn't actually a disavantage and used that to obliterate my teams. Playing against people like toxinatoR and pat was always very hard but greetz aka frankie consistantly managed to single handedly ace us and was hands down the most annoying player for me to counter (since we always seemed.to to go the same.route), whether when we won a match or not.

2. I hated my experience at w2z New York LAN in 2007.

TLDR - So much bad luck to get to the LAN and played 1 match and lost.
(Longer version):

It took so much just to get to the LAN, only for it to be run so terribly by TillJim. I mean I guess it ran okay, except for a few hiccups, but it was an AWFUL experience for myself. I only decided to go to the LAN 2 days before the LAN was scheduled to start. I ended up taking a bus to Toronto to meet up with Justin Lynch, then bussed again to meet up with InSaNe, where he and his girlfriend at the time were gracious enough to drive us all the way to New York. Alternator died somewhere in the state of New York, so we're stuck on the side of the road at night. By sheer chance an ex-military mechanic found us on the side of the road and boosted us a few times to get to the nearest town. Eventually installed the new part the next day and on our way we went. So we get to our ghetto ass motel in new jersey really late the night before the LAN. Wake up early, show up at the LAN, and we're told we're the 13th team, so we don't get to play. We are guaranteed 8th seed and get to play first round of playoffs against the #1 seed. That happened about 12 hours later. So I had to find shit to do for 12 hours practically by myself in New York City and avoid getting lost. Everything looks the god damn same in New York City. It's an awesome place but damn. Anyway, so fast forward to the evening. I'm getting ready to play my FIRST ever DoD match on LAN! CPL fix isn't installed. OH BOY. I'm doing donuts for days and I can't control the Thompson. I ask multiple people how to fix it, but I recieved zero help. So I say fuck it I'll play anyway. Get absolutely raped for 40 minutes on RR1 against uKz ( who went on to win the LAN. Oh yea, and I was playing with a random pug. Myself, Justin Lynch, Trigun, Windian, someone else who's alias I can't think of atm, and that person's friend, WHO NEVER PLAYED DOD BEFORE. It was awful. Then to top it all off, people AT THE LAN are telling me I'm legit and I proved to them I'm legit. I DIDN'T DO SHIT. I GOT DESTROYED, and I couldnt even control the thompson. If you've ever played with CPL mouse fix and then reformatted or got a new computer and it wasn't installed, you know what I'm talking about. So of course, once we got home, YOU'RE ALL TALKING SHIT ON GOTFRAG that I'm online and didn't do shit at LAN. FML So yeah, my experience PLAYING DoD at w2z was AWFUL, but I admit, I really enjoyed meeting everyone that I gamed with online for years. The end!... I wrote a fuck load of text here, but I don't feel like editting it down. Hope you enjoyed reading my story about w2z... lol <3

chris k4b00m I remember when you guys got shafted as the 13th team, but to be fair you and your squad kind of set yourself up for disaster by being on the fence about the LAN then making a last second team with justin lynch (who god damn nobody thought was really going to show up). I was in a similar situation seeing as how sik and I could only get to the LAN via driving from god damn Oklahoma. Hudson refused to give me a few more days to figure out travelling arrangements and picked up super hot free agent Ivan "Rebirth" Rojas. It was a blessing and a curse, because playing for NoGo and meeting all those guys was a blast, the road trip with kirk, christian, and sik was one of the most fun trips I've had, but I think had I been the third rifle on thunder that squad would have won the LAN. Nothing against Ivan, whom I love, but I had been playing with hudson on LAU the season before, and scrimmed a lot with ryan and tox before the LAN. Kirk was the only person on NoGo I had ever played with.

BUT ANYHOW, The car issues are just bad luck, could have happened to anyone. That LAN was poorly ran, but if I remember correctly TillJim was just helping organize it when whoever was spearheading the thing hard bailed and left him to keep it together. If that had been me at 16 years old I would have told everyone to fuck off at the LAN when people started bitching. Also by the time you guys finally got to play it was already late as hell, most of the guys had flights/trains to catch the following morning. It's no excuse, but if you had seen chaos earlier in the day you would have known how to bitch when you want something changed. When NoGo finally sat down for our round robin kirk's computer couldnt connect to ventrilo and stealth's had the lowest gamma setting ive ever seen. This was after they told us we couldn't change any settings in console besides sensitivity. I looked behind me to ryanemo who told me everyone of the thunder guys played on the same computers before us and changed the gamma as needed so boom problem solved in my mind.

Kevin I was somewhat thinking that we may have but I'm pretty sure before w2z the only interaction I had with you was through kirk and hanging out in the checkmate vent. I always hated sp0rk. If possible, I thought he was even nerdy for a bunch video gamers.. I remember watching an HLTV for some match on RR2, getting everyone to alias as him and quote a bunch of CAL rules while he thratened to ban everyone for making fun of him. Other than that I think I liked most of the people in the community.

I will have to say that I always found it annoying when the people who started playing this game while it was in its prime acted like they were in some clique for having been playing longer.

Pretty sure I irritated quite a few people in my day, and made several people cry on ventrilo. I was such a fucking troll, in retrospect I wish I would have been more pleasant and friendly to people. It definitely made it harder to find teams, when half the members of every team I had personally trolled fairly hard. In the end, the only ones to take me in where Betwon and his merry band of really nice people. Kinda made me a bit of a nice person too. I credit Betwon for turning me into a nicer human being, and Batmang, for getting me to quit DOD by switching to Linux.

It really was a great game we played. I wish we all had a chance to do it again. I enjoyed the trolling at the time, but now I kinda regret never getting to play on a stable competitive team because people hated me enough to never want to play with me, except for the select few cool crews I found that put up with my bullshit, and still called me a friend. <3 Bewton Batman Profiction Rizo
