Alright so we made to the playoffs. Woohoo. Well there is only 6 teams left in Invite which means all the teams that kept playing would participate anyway. Just a reminder of the teams who either rage quit or have been removed of the tournament: Angry Cockroaches, try2win, Bunch of Squares, risK, iwa, noLuck and lastly Band-Aid. That's seven teams

. Well if only two of these teams have remained we would have a complete 8 teams playoffs. However lets congratulate who kept playing until the end. Hooray! Leaving the shit-chat aside, we are going to play against the super cool dudes of dgf. Back some seasons ago they were the only team who accepted to scrim against brazis and despite we had some bumbs during all this time we always managed to scrim and play each other. I just hope both teams can have a good match and personally all that I want is drop 10 bombs on Allies sides. God I hat playing Allies on anzio!!

cAss' loves dgf and thinks that it will be a great match.

Super cool dudes on the way. Watch out this team. They started scrimming as much as the argentinean raters of try2win! We scrimmed against them on anzio and got totally shitstomped. Rodz cried an entire mississipi river because couldn't even get 20 bombs. That's something for sure! I expect jarrod dominating bridge while seveN and Jules will rotate between street/church with their perfect sprays. And as usual Miller will cheat-peek everyone with his snipers.exe skills. I like k4b00m very much and I personally think he will do good. But the lack of practice that SuaP seems to have will likely prevail them to move on the semi-finals.

cAss' believes that AKK will win by 3+ caps.

Mindflow can be defined as the epitome of being good without even trying. I personally never saw they scrimming together and aside of their weekend matches and tbh I have my doubts if some guys like watagashi and apple1mak are real persons or sandbaggers with different steams (hmm I guess its too late to start investigating this haha!). And these guys have Austin sandbagging for them! What more can I say? As much as I like a team like 9th Ranger playing the entire season without any complains about being placed at a wrong division and what not I can't really think they will overcame the team that won Season 25 Lower and will likely win Season 26 Main. Nevertheless good luck for both teams!

cAss' is certain that mindflow will win by at least 2 worth of caps

First of all I apologize with jkid/jeff. On my last pred I made a mistake on adding the further comments "for laughs" right beside your nickname. This wasn't meant for you! It was clearly appointed to Ronin which I kind of like messing around with.

So after that public statement what more can I say other than I'm very biased when it matters to predict MVPz scores? As much as I think Pat is an ass I really like the most valuable dudes of DoD. This time around Scott will drop 50 bombs. Each. Half. 100 total. Rob will ninja capture like 4 times. Each. Half. I don't hear much about rwc out of lately but on this match he will just tk his team mates 4 times. Each. Half. And Josh will argue 20 minutes with Pat. And will end up saving the day for the team along with Pat's fast reflex super duper cool shots. (Your sincerely, MVPz fanboy).

People bitching around about week 8 schedules made early matchups like this happen. I really wished that HD team could figure in playoffs so that I would be able to see Charles sniping like a champ again. But I guess the quarter-finals will be their last match of the season unfortunately... And I say that not because its |3h|. But because it's Matt, Ricky and S0v team. And that's means a lot. In all seriousness even in all the years I spent playing Counter-Strike on lans and travelled around I didn't really have the opportunity to met real friends playing together. And thats my impression of |3h|. Real friends playing an WW2 FPS simulator in order to stay together and have some laughs. Sorry HD but I'm with |3h| on this!

As much as I like seeing Corey Pinto's scrimming 24/7 I feel he won't be able to stop GSR on a quarter-finals. I'm not acquainted with any of GSR fellas but what I know is they have a pretty solid roster and since we are talking about anzio. Team organization is vital when you need to coordinate pushes in order to get the double flags or even cap. Combining this with stile suspension tbh I can't really find a way of Ghad Gaming winning this. Unfortunately everything is pointing to Rangers this time. GHLF.

How come I can predict a team called unknown winning against l2r? No way! haha I really don't know what happened to l2r last match when they lose to one of the few Argentinean team that kept with the rules the entire season and didn't brought any problems at all. I guess they played with 5 men or something. Whatever l2r will have this and will start solidifying their way seeking the division title. Gogo ragers!

Codk also made his way to playoffs playing it without bringing any harm to teams and the league. Mostly they are just chil dudes who likes just to get together and play DoD. They barely scrim or practice on Pubs. In the other hand BAW was somewhat of inconsistent during the season. I wouldn't bet my coins this time around but who knows? Lets see if they can take the challenge!

Against all odds Masacre made to the playoffs. Just to lose to the 475th guys lol. Though they had a big win over l2r who likely had roster problems Marauders guys will be just too much to chil argentinean guys who despite other teams that played this season, are friendly and don't rate. I wish good luck to both teams but Merril's roster have a clearly advantage on this!

Anzio is really teamwork dependent and, while Owned outclasses them on an individual skill basis, dgf has been around a long time and they really do play well together as a unit, so this is the perfect map for them to face a team like Owned on.

dgf vs owned

i haven't played owned in a long time though i think they will have the skill and teamwork to take dgf out of the playoffs. dgf has some good players but i think they lack the overall skill to take out anyone in the playoffs. if bullgoose can hold bridge you never know, dgf is known for upsets. owned by 1 cap.

akk vs suap

akk has this. it should be an interesting match but i think the rifles for akk are too strong for suap to handle. the heavy team might not be able to hold what they need to so that could be akk's downfall but i still they akk will win by a couple caps and change.

mindflow vs 9thrb

9thrb aren't bad. i haven't played mindflow in a while but they do have a solid roster depending on which six they feild. i'll say mindflow by atleast 3 caps.

3h vs 1080p

3h wins this fairly easily. i don't think 1080p can compete with them anywhere on a map like anzio.

gsr vs ghad

in my opinion this is the match to watch for the first week of the playoffs. both teams have fairly skilled rosters. gsr will have much better teamwork but i think overall frag power goes to ghad. if ghad knows how to win on anzio they will win, however i don't think they have the teamwork to pull it off. gsr by a cap.

Attack of the killer koalas! vs Shut Up and Party - SuaP has lots of talent, but koalas has even more. akk by four caps.

mindflow vs 9th Ranger Battalion - 9th RB is actually a lot more decent than their realism name implies, but their best player (bausch) is suspended for not having screenshots. This will be a match not even Will Ward could lose.
TeamLess vs Most Valuable Playerz - Both teams get their starters here and this will be a real battle. Teamless by one cap.
3xtreme Humiliation vs 1080p - glhf, we have no more "invite" players than most teams in this division. Or did you guys forget you have the amazing Zook?
GameSpy Rangers vs Ghad Gaming - Haven't played this iteration of GSR yet, but they look solid. I think they'll out-teamwork the frag-heavy ghad on this map. GSR by two caps.

While invite was very lopsided this season (as it usually is), these Main playoffs are actually really interesting. I could see most of these matches going either way. gl to all.

these are both pretty active teams, on a map that is very teamwork oriented, so it should be a well played match. i think dgf added a pretty good players, so that should help them a lot, and i think they also added pat... but owned has impressed me every time i play them this season in matches or in scrims, so i think they will be able to beat dgf with or w/o rods. it should be close though, with 2 teams that have good teamwork on a map where that is really important.

TeamLess > Most Valuable Playerz - im not really sure, just going on rosters here. teamless has a few pretty decent and active players, while mvpz looks a little more inactive and long in the tooth
3xtreme Humiliation > 1080p - this guy defiance has owned me with a kar, but i am more familiar with the players on 3h and know they are pretty decent so i think they should win.
GameSpy Rangers > Ghad Gaming - i think gsr lost shogun, but they still have till/pepsi/poo who should be enough to beat ghad gaming.

kte time: anzio is the bane of our existence(lets replace it with sherman thanks). in the past 2 seasons all 3 tpg matches have ended up this way: 1080p has the lead with less than 7-8 minutes to play and loses. In the offseason i will be working on DNA therapy for all us, in hopes one of us develops the CLUTCH gene.
