Among all european countries I noticed that the french kiddo left his pearls of wisdom regarding USA teams. I particularly disagree of any of them but steve being on a dreamteam! Here's his full list. And yeah, I expect jb raging because he didn't mentioned hb.

It's pretty odd to place old school teams like 101st (pretty surprised that the dude didn't mention sac) in the same category as teams like check-six or complexity since dod has gone through many revisions over the years.

Someone wrote a reasonable response to this sort of thread many years ago. Currently, I can't find the thread on gotfrag, his list was short but it made pretty good sense. If I remember correctly, it went something like this:

tier 1: Check-six, complexity
tier 2: United 5, highball (although I'm sure hb would have been in tier 1 if they didn't blow it against the australian team that initially got knocked out of the competition by idemise at CPL 05)
tier 3: everyone else in invite

Of course whoever wrote it is welcome to correct me.

This guy is on to something. You know it's a good list because dice and pandemic are right next to 101st, x6, and coL. Also, the top 2-4 players of all time at every position were/are European.

edit: chuck, stop trolling. hannibal was years ahead of every other dod player.

players: kellen, cableguy, dorito, ninjuh, marshall, and shifty when he was amazing on ukz not mediocre on pandemic.

honorable mention: beas, and cRus because he NEVER gets mentioned.

teams: coL, check-six, Highball

honorable mention: u5/rSports, PK of course I was on both teams at one point.

Online team of the decade: natural selection imo

From my experience here are the players I had the most trouble with.

Rifle deadbeat
Rifle ackpth
Sniper Steve
Heavy max
Heavy eckman

X6 and col at col 05 would have beat this combo of a dream team though because of their superior chemistry and teamwork which is overlooked in most cases

rSports was a really good team. I hated aether, but not as a person, just playing against him. I feel like the most I learned from dod was watching ackpath and aether play. I'm not saying they were the best.

The thing that I liked about rSports (were they llama patrol before that?) was their play style. Dod became a lot slower when top teams started to "habib" it up, but the way that team rotated and moved around was very impressive. They had great flow.
