lan movie help

So I''m going to make a lan movie from cpl 04,05,wsvg,w2z and ky.

I need someone to help me get better quality. I've been using wmv codec for years and I cannot get the quality right. I'd like to learn how to use mp4 x264 to get the best quality possible. I think I need some updated color filters for vegas as well. Can any semi-dod-pro movie maker help me please?

pm chris kaboom, he knows how to convert the file to .mkv (outstanding quality)
