In my opinion, from some teams, who has 15 o 16 players, they could make another team, more variety and more matches, or maybe 2 divisions of skill. But for that, is necesary at least 5 teams more.

I said pretty much the same thing and got shot down. I was told people want to play with their mates, the problem is that with that many people on the roster, they won't be playing at all.

This thread is way too early. We dont know if there will be more teams applying. It's like 12 days until the real season starts. But I'll keep going anyway.

I've said it before, IF we get like 16 teams, we could make it 2 divisions. But during these preseason games I've notice som laziness from some teams and no willpower to make a team even though their roster exists of like 15players. The future will tell us if it will be 2 divisions or not. Would be better cause there are some new teams that have no experience in pcw what so ever and it wont be very fun for them to play vs 50% of the clans registered. And the point with this is to have fun first of all.
Today we have 2 new teams registered waiting for a full roster, EuS and oriGin. I'm very happy for this, cause this a major skillboost for the league, the competition will be a lot greater.
I would also like to see Over-Razer come back. RenameD have sooo many really active players that have to sit aside the lineup each sunday, that they instead could let 3 or 4 players go and make Over-Razer. And also look over the situation in GATHERBOIIS. But that's my wishfull thinking talking.

I do not understand these new maps.

We are all old and rusty. We don't play dod. We STILL play dod. We haven't learned new tactics in 7 years because we didn't have to. Before american/CAL influences (railroad, harrington) we played dod in Europe (version 1.0-1.1 etc) on only 3 maps. Anzio donner and chemille. And no one was complaining.

Sure donner is now boring and campy and harrington is faster and probably better. I'm just saying I would have prefered to learn new maps back in 2004 when I was in some wannabe pro tryhard noobteam that played 3 scims every evening and had time to practise and learn new maps. Now I'm in some mix lineup with people I don't even know. If I ever play we surely won't be practising or learning new maps.

It only increases chances of teams losing vs random noobs and quiting dod again.

That's why people are diferent! I don't share the same opinion as you! I'm glad to having people who made some new fresh maps, so we can stay out of the same anzio harrington lennon routine. I remember the last nightcup's of ED and the map pool were always anzio harrington lennon and some donner or railroad! I'm not saying that is wrong, but i do respect those people who lost their time making some new maps. Yeah, i know most of them needed a fix cuz in some parts of the map we got fps drops...but lets give them a chance.

I neither agree when you say that when "we" don't have time to learn new maps and practising those maps. I tell you what! EvC start playing tpg america the season ago and even having the problem of latency mixing that with new maps that we had never played like dod_emmanuel and 1 hour b4 the match we just checked out how we were gonna play that...then we win. This is not to prove anything to anyone but its only to show when people are up to something there will be more fun.

Hope them should keep making new maps and improve more stuff cuz this game is like 10 years old and if we continue to overplay anzio harri lennon than people will quitting dod againnnnnnnn.


Season map pool list is not very important cause even if a team losses they will be able to play playoffs but then if they are in the last positions the chances are lower cuz they will play vs the upper positions...anything can happen, but the final will be between zoo and renamed.
