Monitor Blinking Problem
So for some reason my monitor is blinking, going black for a split second about 10 times a minute or so. I haven't used the monitor in about a year, and it was working fine when I last did. I've already reinstalled all video drivers, so I'm not sure if it's something else with my laptop, or the monitor itself. Any help would be great.
Re: Monitor Blinking Problem
does it do it in safemode?
Re: Monitor Blinking Problem
If it's blinking in safemode, try with a external monitor.

Re: Monitor Blinking Problem
Sounds like the video drivers are recovering from an error and resetting. Like they already said, try it in safe mode to verify.

Re: Monitor Blinking Problem
Probably a driver issue then. Does it only go black when you are playing games / utilizing alot of the GPU or does it do it while you are just sitting at the desktop as well?element wrote:doesnt do it in safe mode

Re: Monitor Blinking Problem
Reinstall your video drivers.
Too clarify: REMOVE your video drivers, then install them again. If still having issues download http://www.malwarebytes.org/ free version, install, update boot in safemode and run scan.
