Kinda late to talk about this particular game but assuming we have people in here that likes story driven games this one should be given a shot as in my opinion it really outdid itself in regards of immersion and narrative. It's not even a top notch fps as the combat is really repetitive but again some of the lines and the plot kept me playing until credits rolled out. The original bioshock, given its time of release was indeed more fresh and it's overall a better game considering the tech aspects but somehow infinite made me wonder several things that were glimpsed for me throughout my years of life. quantum-physics? multiverses? inevitability? tying up with bioshock after the dlcs in a way most of the narrative made sense only made the full experience even better. I swear I am not drunk but I really needed to write this shit up and suggest this game to everyone else who wants to have a good time with presumably the best usage of color pallete / art direction to date in gaming.
